Kristen’s passion for all things pregnancy, birth and parenthood began in 2008 when she had her first baby. Since then, she has become a mother of two, a yoga teacher, health coach, full spectrum doula, and lactation consultant. Kristen has a diverse range of experience having attended over 100 births in many different hospitals since completing her doula training with Birth Matters in 2020. She is honored to be invited to support you on your journey no matter where you come from or what your family looks like. Kristen is proud of the network of resources, care providers and relationships she has built with fellow Doulas, OBs, Midwives and Nurses in the Denver/Boulder area. Part of the leadership team of the Denver Health Doula program and a Community Doula with Elephant Circle’s Expecting Chances, she has been invited to speak, teach and attend birth related events seeking to improve the landscape of birth in our country and is always seeking to learn and grow. Pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and parenting can be a lot to navigate. Kristen aims to support her clients with compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based, non-judgmental care. She holds space to address whatever comes up so families can show up to birth with confidence. Preparing you mentally, physically, and emotionally, she provides information, resources, guidance and advocacy to her clients as they navigate their unique adventure, helping them to feel empowered in their choices. When not with her own kids or working with clients, Kristen loves being in nature, traveling to new places, frolicking with her dog, swimming, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and surfing.
Thornton, Colorado
I found my love and passion for supporting families and children in 2002 when I began my career as a Nanny. I would frequently found myself supporting newborns/infants as a Nanny and chose to transition to a Newborn Care Specialist officially in 2021. As of 2023, I have supported over 30 families with their childcare and newborn development. In order to bolster my experience and skills, I sought educational opportunities that specialized in newborn/infant care. I have completed course offerings from Newborn Care Solutions in both Foundational and Advanced levels and am an Elite, CACHE certified NCS; along with being a trained doula and working on my certification for lactation counselor, I continue learning and growing my knowledge through safe sleep courses and many other trainings pertaining to newborns. I look forward to hearing from you to see if I am a good fit!
Centennial, Colorado
My name is Courtney Moore Rodriguez. I am a certified lactation educator (CLE), certified postpartum doula (CPD), and certified infant and family sleep specialist (IFSS). I am here to support your family in person (within the Denver metro area) and/or virtually…from the time you find out you’re expecting, through your baby’s first birthday. In those first few weeks and months, it can be hard to ask for help. I am a strong believer in helping families to help themselves (with a good amount of time for rest and self care thrown in too). Rather than taking care of your baby for you, I make sure that you have the skills, knowledge, and rest to do it on your own. I assist families in a non-judgmental fashion and always strive to meet you where you are. I am up to date on the latest research regarding infant feeding, sleep, and newborn care, and can give you non-biased information so that you can make informed choices that work for your family.
Longmont, Colorado
Hi, I'm Koko! I serve Longmont and northern Colorado as a birth and postpartum doula. I offer placenta encapsulation and lactation counseling. I see in birth such a beautiful demonstration of love. The love of a mother as she uses her strength, the love of a partner in support of labor; and love of God for us as we travel through the whole process. I am blessed with the beautiful opportunity to help others welcome the precious gift of new life into this world. My life is guided by Catholic faith, marriage, and my life’s vocation of motherhood. I am DONA trained and certified through the Catholic Doula Program as both a birth and postpartum doula.

Love Lactation,LLC Meet your Lactation Consultant Heather Cordova B.S, IBCLC I have been a lactation consultant for more than 13 years and working with families for more than 30 years. I strongly believe everyone should have access to professional care and I love providing that care to families. Feeding your baby is a personal experience and I am passionate and dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. I tailor my approach to each individual and their unique path and special journey. Since receiving my bachelors degree in nutrition, I have worked with the Women, Infants and Children program providing nutrition education and lactation support for 29 years. I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in 2011, and have been in private practice for over 12 years. I am married, have two children, and I breastfed each of them for a full year. My daughter, who is now an adult, has significant special needs. When it came to breastfeeding, I needed extra care and support from professionals to reach my goals. I doubt I could have continued to feed her human milk without the support offered by professionals around me. I want other individuals to have that support.
