My name is Carisa Niemyer and I work as a doula and doula trainer in Colorado SpringsI found my way into doula work through the birth of my first child. My story didn't go exactly how I wanted and my baby had her own story of how she wanted to be born, as these babes often do. But after my delivery I felt so empowered and supported and loved my story. Much of the reason this was true was because of the support of a doula.
