About me
Hi, I'm Meldyn. I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula and Childbirth Educator specializing in Mind, Body Spirit Birthing. The mother of seven, one in heaven, new grandma to 3 precious babies Six of my seven babies were born at home, the seventh, and final we opted for an unmedicated hospital birth where I served as my own doula. I am experienced in home, hospital and birth center births. I am skilled at supporting moms in whatever environment they choose. I have been training with my own Midwife for over 35 years and have a vast array of skills and knowledge. Helping to support mothers in birth and assist in ushering in these precious little ones is my calling and divine passion. It is my nature to nurture, to be that "mama" for you as you walk through not only the birth of your baby, but the birth of a new you as a mother. The process of creating, growing and bringing forth life is the most sacred gift we have as women. I am honored to be able to be a part of this divine process. I am also trained in hypnobirthing, pain management, spirituality, healthy living, breastfeeding and postpartum. I look forward to connecting with you and walking with you through this most precious journey.

Service introduction
My services begin with prenatal/childbirth education and coaching, where I guide you to connect deeply and trust the natural flow of your pregnancy. Together, we’ll explore your desires for your birth experience, providing space for inspired and fact based preparation, and alignment with your desires. My goal is that you feel supported, confident, and ready to embrace the exciting journey ahead. During labor and birth, I offer compassionate support, providing comfort and encouragement. I’m present to guide you through each wave, helping you stay grounded and connected to your strength. Supporting you through the birth process and holding space for your baby to arrive in peace. Also healing to support you in any decisions that may arise. I’m here to help you advocate for yourself and your baby. After birth, I continue offering postpartum care that honors your emotional and physical healing, helping you transition into motherhood with love, grace, and the reassurance that you’re supported every step of the way. My package fee is $1500 and I also offer a sliding scale if needed :)

Meldyn is a true joy to work with. I wish I had worked with her for the birth of my first-it wasn’t a great experience and think she could have made all the difference in the world. I’m so thankful she helped me with the birth of my second child. It was such a beautiful experience. She was there for me leading up to the birth, during, and afterward offering helpful advice and encouragement. I credit her with helping me have quick labor and delivery and helping me avoid a C-section. It was a beautiful birth and all I had hoped for. I believe much of that is from working with her and planning what we could together. She is so knowledgeable and has a calming, supportive energy. I highly recommend Meldyn and would ask her if she’d be my doula if I had another baby. She is a gifted doula and wonderful person.

My words really can’t describe how much Meldyn helped me get through this birth. This birth was such a more intense experience then my first and without Meldyn, her energy work, and everything she did to help remind myself to go deeper and stay strong though those vulnerable moments was everything that helped get my little man earthside. I feel my body knew that we had to get my baby born fast and furious and without her that may not have happened. So I thank her from the bottom of my heart. <3 I am so deeply grateful for what doulas do to help women/mothers through the most sacred time of welcoming their children into the world. Meldyn was so calming and encouraging during my labor and delivery! She reminded me often to talk to baby during labor, which was helpful for me to stay focused and positive. She also was consistently telling me I was doing a good job and always had an encouraging word. I am so thankful for her presence at my baby’s birth!
