In addition to my certification as a Doula, I am also a Clinical Nutritionist, Lactation Educator, and Aromatherapist. Additionally, I have a specialty in pain management and have a strong interest in understanding the scientific background of pain relief. I am trained to operate a labor TENS unit in addition to other non-invasive pain reduction strategies. I was a postpartum nurse for years before transitioning into the lactation role. I am now an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant. I think families face and feel a lot of pressure around "doing things right", but when it comes to raising a baby, there is no "right way", there's just what works for your family! I help families sort through these feelings with a non-judgmental approach and tailor solutions to YOUR situation. In my free time, I love to travel, read, and be outside!

Hello everyone, my name is Lauren Pilger. I am a lactation consultant (IBCLC) with a special focus in perinatal mental health. I'm also a certified infant massage instructor and a holistic sleep coach. I live in Colorado Springs, CO. I am very passionate in helping families reach their infant feeding goals, whatever they may be. I am especially drawn toward bonding and attachment and how to facilitate that for both parents. In my free time, I enjoy going on hikes with husband and 2 boys, age 11 & 13, as well as our mini aussie, Maggie. I also love singing, sewing, and writing letters.
