Hi, I’m Bria, the doula behind Anthea Doula Care. I support families as they prepare for one of life’s most powerful transitions! My goal is to help you and your partner feel informed, calm, and deeply supported throughout pregnancy, labor, and early postpartum. I believe everyone should feel like someone is in their corner. I will be there just for you, no one else. I have been interested in becoming a doula for a long time. Since high school, I thought about becoming a midwife, however my life did not go in that direction. I met my husband, Dennis, in 2011. He was in the military, and we moved around often. After having kids of my own in 2020, I knew I wanted to be a birth worker. I, personally, had a hard time adjusting to becoming a mom and I would love to support anyone going through this journey. I did not have a doula for either of my births, but I could have used one. My first birth experience was fast and I thought I knew what to expect, I did not! It was a shock, and I needed someone who knew what was happening and what was a normal part of labor. I needed someone to tell me to relax and exhale. My second birth was also fast, but my breathing was under control and it made the biggest difference. I will be there with you through it all and we’ll exhale, together.

I'm Sam, long time birth nerd ➡️ new Catholic / Christian doula in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado. I support families in Colorado Springs, Denver, Pueblo and the surrounding areas. I'm Madriella Certified and I'm working on my DONA international certification right now. I'm excited to support families of all shapes and sizes through this incredible (and sometimes spooky) phase of life ❤️‍🔥 About me: I'm a Catholic convert circa 2022 and I had my first baby, lil Gwen in February 2025 💞 My hobbies include being an absolute homebody, crocheting and reading, gaming with my husband, saving all my money until I'm blessed enough to venture out into the world. (Most recently, Japan in 2023 🌎) My mission is to be a steadfast advocate for women, ensuring they know they are not alone on this incredible journey. Together, we can navigate the joys and challenges of childbirth, guided by love, faith, and an unwavering belief in each mother’s unique capabilities.

**Bringing Peace, Serenity, & Calm from Preconception Through Pregnancy, Birth & Recovery** Hi, I’m Crystal, a holistic doula, perinatal massage therapist, educator, and guide supporting individuals and families through fertility, pregnancy, birth, and recovery. With over a decade of experience, I offer whole-person care that helps you feel calm, informed, deeply cared for, and confident in the choices you make along the way. I believe these experiences are about more than reaching the next milestone. Whether you're preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility or infertility, growing your family, preparing for birth, or recovering from pregnancy, your body, mind, and emotional well-being deserve thoughtful support through the transition. My approach brings together bodywork, education, doula care, and personalized guidance to meet you where you are. Some clients come to me for physical relief or support preparing their bodies for what's ahead. Others need help sorting through information, understanding their options, preparing for birth or parenthood, or simply having a calm, knowledgeable person beside them while plans change. There isn't one "right" way to move through fertility, pregnancy, birth, or recovery. My role isn't to fit you into a philosophy or tell you what you should choose. It's to help you understand your options, honor your values, care for your body, and create more peace in whatever season you're navigating. *Because peace of mind comes from understanding your options, not being told what to do.*

My name is Carisa Niemyer and I work as a doula and doula trainer in Colorado SpringsI found my way into doula work through the birth of my first child. My story didn't go exactly how I wanted and my baby had her own story of how she wanted to be born, as these babes often do. But after my delivery I felt so empowered and supported and loved my story. Much of the reason this was true was because of the support of a doula. That experience led me into the world of birth work and I have now been a doula for 18 years, working in both birth and postpartum, as well as training new doulas at Birthingway College of Midwifery in Portland OR as well as in my own training organization here in Colorado Springs. I am passionate about supporting families in whatever their birth choices are, and believe non-judgemental, continuous support thought a families journey can make all the difference! I have worked with a lot of families over the years and each story has been unique and beautiful. I have experience is both high risk and low risk pregnancies. Hospital births as well as home births. I also have experience with twins and triplets, both in birth and postpartum work. My hope is that each family I work with feels empowered and supported in whatever choices they make as they boldly enter this new season of life!

I served in the Army as a medic and worked as a civilian ski patroller for many years before starting my own family. I have a long-standing love for fitness, travel and the outdoors. Aside from a passion for helping families in their birth and postpartum journeys, I strive to make a difference in my community. I am the proud wife of a soldier, and I am a mother. I have a little boy, twin girls and a pup. My pregnancy and births led me to be passionate about closing the gap in modern healthcare and putting the power of birth back into the hands of parents. My experience with obstetrics left a lot to be desired. Hiring a doula for the birth of my twins was a life altering (and lifesaving) experience. I want to be there to empower you, advocate for you, and support you and your decisions in every way to give you the best possible birth experience. Postpartum is a sacred time, hiring a postpartum doula can ensure you enjoy the time and recover with ease in a supported setting. While working with me, you will find yourself in an empathetic and compassionate environment. I look forward to serving you and being a part of a most special time in your life as a parent. I have taken additional courses in military culture, peri and postnatal mood disorders, lactation language, pregnancy discrimination, Spinning Babies Breach for Practitioners, and causes and consequences of childbirth-related PTSD.

My greatest desire is to be able to provide multiple facets of care in order to adapt to the specific needs and circumstances of my clients and serve with skill and compassion.

I am deeply honored to be part of the doula community, walking alongside mothers during their unique birth experiences. I look forward to supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, knowing that each journey will be as distinct as the families themselves. What remains constant in every story is the incredible beauty of the unknown, how each baby will arrive and the joy this new little person will bring into their lives. As a doula, I am truly grateful to each family that invites me into their journey, and I am committed to offering support that leaves you feeling confident in your choices and empowered as you step into parenthood. In my role as your doula, I work with you during pregnancy to understand what's most important to you in this season of life. I provide nonjudgmental support and evidence based information to guide you in making decisions about your delivery and parenting plans. Whether offering physical and emotional support, or advocacy, I am here to be by your side. I provide continuous labor support from the time you feel you need it until your baby is in your arms and you're ready to settle in together. I cherish working with families as they navigate the transformative moments of birth and the early postpartum weeks, and I am always honored to be part of this special season in their lives. When I'm not supporting families, I love adventuring with my husband and three children, tending to our garden, spending time with our farm animals, learning all things homeopathy, and, of course, enjoying a good cup of coffee!

I believe in nurturing young and growing families with grace, resilience, and intentional movement. When our time is up you won’t realize I’m gone because you’ve been empowered to take on sustainable postpartum practices and you put self care first. I believe everyone deserves a doula!
