Hi, I’m Samantha —an overnight postpartum doula and the founder of Akari, a care-centered wellness initiative based in the Colorado mountains. My mission is to restore dignity and real support to postpartum healing—whether that’s a full night’s sleep or a two-week recovery retreat. For families needing deeper rest, I also offer the Akari Recovery Stay—a 2-week retreat-style postpartum experience hosted in partnership with local Airbnbs and care providers. All services are designed to support every kind of family, from solo parents to couples navigating recovery after birth, miscarriage, or loss.
