NoCo Doula Collective, is a team-based doula and perinatal support practice serving Fort Collins and communities throughout Northern Colorado. Founded by Julianne Curtis and Katie Piccolo, who combined their established doula practices to launch the collective in spring 2024. The collective provides support across the reproductive and parenting journey, including labor/birth doula care, postpartum support, lactation counseling, childbirth and new-parent education, and bereavement support. The team also includes professionals offering specialties such as NICU support, pediatric sleep consulting and birth/family photography. I received my lactation training through Metropolitan State University of Denver and have spent the past eight years working as both a birth and postpartum doula, supporting more than 100 families through some of the most tender and transformative moments of their lives. I come to lactation work with a foundation in Nutrition, holding a bachelor’s degree from UNC.  I have three kiddos of my own—each with their own unique breastfeeding journey.
