NoCo Doula Collective, is a team-based doula and perinatal support practice serving Fort Collins and communities throughout Northern Colorado. Founded by Julianne Curtis and Katie Piccolo, who combined their established doula practices to launch the collective in spring 2024. The collective provides support across the reproductive and parenting journey, including labor/birth doula care, postpartum support, lactation counseling, childbirth and new-parent education, and bereavement support. I have a masters degree in pediatric nursing and I’m an internationally board certified lactation consultant (IBCLC). My career started 10 years ago in inpatient pediatrics and the neonatal ICU. I then moved to a pediatric outpatient clinic due to a desire to focus on preventative medicine and patient education. When I had my own struggle breastfeeding my daughter it drove me to focus my career on lactation.
