Carlie has such a calm, comforting presence and took the time to truly understand my needs, goals, and preferences. Her support felt thoughtfully tailored to me, and I felt heard and respected throughout our time together. She has a remarkable ability to connect with babies and recognize the subtle cues they use to communicate. While that understanding seems almost intuitive, learning lactation from her has shown me the curiosity, careful observation, and dedication she brings to her work. She brings both compassion and deep expertise to her work, and I’m grateful to have experienced her care for many months of my breastfeeding journey with my daughter.

Carlie is a GEM. I’m so grateful for her help with breastfeeding my first born! She has such a reassuring presence and really helped me feel more confident in feeding and caring for our newborn. I can’t thank her enough for all her support in helping us start off our breastfeeding journey strong. Thank you, Carlie, you’re amazing!

Carlie is pure magic. My son would not latch on his own, but anytime we met with Carlie he instantly took to the breast and responded to all of her adjustments and exercises. Carlie is timely, quick to respond to outreach, and full of knowledgeable and objective advise around all aspects of breastfeeding and pumping. She was an incredibly calming and positive presence to have in our home, especially with a newborn. Run, don't walk, to meet with her!

Carlie was an incredible help to me and my family as we navigated our troubles with nursing our second child. We struggled with slow weight gain, reflux, poor latching and fussiness while feeding, and without Carlie, I would have had to give up at about 4 months. With her help, we were able to make it all the way to 10 months, and Carlie continued to support us as we navigated the switch to formula. She is kind and supportive, and I always knew she was helping us do what what best for our baby. She went above and beyond to help us get through a difficult time!

Carlie is warm, generous with her abundant knowledge, and incredibly skilled in her offering. I feel so lucky to have found her while in the tender chapter of postpartum, and have had the fortune of receiving her support in a difficult moment while learning to breastfeed my son. She approaches her care with no judgement and she feels like a safe place to learn about effective lactation strategies. And she is a cheerleader for helping meet goals. I highly recommend her to anyone who may be struggling with breastfeeding and needing support, or simply wants to improve what they are already doing. Carlie is a gift to our community.

Carlie provided an exceptional level of support and guidance throughout my breastfeeding journey, transforming what was once a daunting experience into something truly magical. I credit Carlie for the progress I have made thus far, and I wholeheartedly recommend Carlie to anyone seeking assistance with their breastfeeding journey in Boulder County or Weld County. In hindsight, I only wish I had met Carlie prior to the birth of my child, as her expertise and resources would have been invaluable during those initial moments. Whether you are currently expecting or have already given birth, I strongly encourage you to reach out to Carlie for her exceptional help and guidance.

I worked with Carlie for 9 months. She helped me with oversupply, undersupply and everything in between. Carlie was incredibly supportive of my unique wishes and goals. She was a great cheerleader and had so much knowledge when it came to pumping, returning to work, nursing refusal and starting solids, just to name a few. Carlie was non judgmental, which is not always the case with all lactation consultants. She helped me navigate and supported supplementing my son's feeds with formula while still keeping my supply up to continue nursing. She never made me feel bad about my choices and supported me through it all. I have no doubt that because of Carlie, I was able to achieve my breastfeeding goals (6 mo exclusively nursing, 9 months of breastfeeding) and I would NOT have been nearly as successful without her support and guidance. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Carlie to anyone looking for support in feeding their baby. She is truly a gem!

Carlie is amazing!! I gave birth 8 weeks ago to our son who had a very prominent tongue tie. We immediately had a ton of breastfeeding challenges. I showed up to Carlie’s support group in tears when Reed was 5 days old. She was kind, supportive, and nonjudgmental about my highly emotional state! We did many sessions with her which we always a combination of practical support and emotional care for my process. She gave us many tips that reduced nipple pain and facilitated latch. Ultimately, I made the choice a couple of weeks ago to try pumping and bottle feeding (in addition to one or two nursing sessions a day). Carlie was there every step of the way, supporting me in making the decision that felt right for our family and the many variables we were navigating. Our journey continues and I’m so grateful to still have Carlie to talk to. I recommend her highly to anyone!!
