Hi! My name is Heavan Shaw. I am 23 years old and 17 weeks pregnant. I am looking for a doula to provide support throughout my pregnancy and my birth. I plan on giving birth in a hospital or a possible birthing center. I am looking into the birthing center I am interested in here soon. I don’t have a budget or haven’t made on yet. I am still working on my birth plan this is my first pregnancy so everything is super new to me, I know I want an unmedicated birth that’s about all I know as of right now. I would like someone with years of experience, Christian, I want someone to be there to help be my voice. I dont really need additional duties, I just want someone to be by my side and listen to me. I’m super nervous and it’s kinda scary to me. I am excited as well just trying to deal with anxiousness.

I plan on giving birth at UCHealth’s University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO. I am looking to obtain doula services through my health insurance (Anthem BCBS). I am still working on my birth plan but would like to find a doula that can assist with birth and postpartum.
