About me

Hi there, I’m Ellie! I'm an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), a registered nurse with years of experience in Level IV NICUs—and a mom of two boys, each with their own hard, imperfect feeding journey. I know what it's like to be sore, sleep-deprived, and wondering if you're doing any of this right. That's exactly why I do this work. When a mom feels supported in the postpartum season, everything gets a little lighter—for her, her baby, and her whole family. My job is to bring answers and encouragement right when you need them most. Best of all, my services can be covered by insurance plans, meaning many families pay nothing at all.

Service introduction

I provide in-home and virtual lactation support throughout the Denver Metro Area. I'm in-network with Cigna (and soon to be more major insurance plans-Aetna, UnitedHealthcare to name a few). That means for insured families, in-home breastfeeding support costs nothing out of pocket. I handle the billing directly with your insurance provider. The only potential cost is if you live more than 20 minutes from my home in Highlands Ranch, there is a small travel fee. I help with a variety of breastfeeding issues: prenatal visits, painful or difficult latch, low supply, oversupply, engorgement, triple feeding, pumping and bottle feeding, transitioning back to work, preemies and NICU graduates, multiples, weaning and so much more! Even if you don’t see what you need listed, please reach out so we can discuss more. I’d love to help you meet your feeding goals!

Packages
In-home Lactation Consultation Initial Visit (out-of-pocket)
An initial appointment usually takes 90 minutes; follow-ups are often shorter. I'll gather a health history for both you and baby, then observe a full feed—latch, positioning, and how much milk baby is actually transferring—and make hands-on adjustments as we go. I’ll bring a scale to weigh baby and to measure exactly how much milk baby transferred during our feed. We'll cover flange sizing, pumping, and milk storage if they're relevant to you, and answer every question on your list. You'll finish the visit with a clear feeding and/or pumping plan, so you know exactly what to do until we meet again. I’m available to talk in between visits if needed. Here is a more exhaustive list of breastfeeding issues I can help with: prenatal visits, painful or difficult latch, low supply, oversupply, engorgement, triple feeding, pumping and bottle feeding, transitioning back to work, preemies and NICU graduates, multiples, weaning and so much more! Even if you don’t see what you need listed, please reach out so we can discuss more. I’d love to help you meet your feeding goals! **Please note: there is also a possibility of a small travel fee depending on your distance from my home office in Highlands Ranch: no fee under 20 minutes, $25 for 20–39 minutes, and $40 for 40+ minutes. I will confirm this with you before our first visit. **I’ll provide a superbill for you to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement

Ellie is absolutely amazing and everyone needs an Ellie in their corner! I met her two months into my nursing journey when I was struggling immensely and feeling completely overwhelmed. Before finding her, I had already sought out help from several different IBCLCs, but Ellie was a breath of fresh air. She took the time to really listen to me, brainstorm practical solutions, and was so empathetic and kind every step of the way. Ellie made me feel so supported and truly stood by me as a valued partner through what has been one of the toughest, most vulnerable times so far for me. She totally gets the unique struggles that nursing can come with, and she always comes prepared to tackle absolutely anything together with you. Beyond her incredible expertise, she is just so genuinely sweet and kind. Ellie will champion you every single step of the way, celebrating all of your wins and successes—no matter how small. I truly cannot recommend her enough!
