Lactation consultations are available for any reason but many mothers schedule appointments upon returning home from the hospital. Focused appointments are also available during the prenatal period, to prepare for mother's return to work, when baby starts solid foods, teething, or even weaning! Rachel was extremely helpful during my first time journey breast feeding. She helped us by giving hands on assistance & allowed us to ask questions. She walked us through the process with our baby. She is very knowledgeable! We were able to get in quick & very responsive for both our appointments. Highly recommend Nuture Lactation for anyone on their breastfeeding journey.

i would highly recommend rachel to any mom wanting to have a successful breastfeeding journey and who is looking for a supportive and nurturing lactation support person.. i had a very difficult beginning to breastfeeding and had to go through lip tie and tounge tie revisions etc and finally went to see her and that day my baby was finally able to feed at the breast.. i was so happy and so much anxiety was lifted off my shoulders.. i am now 6 months into breastfeeding and my baby is healthy and is so efficient and if it wasn’t for her i would not be where i am today in my journey. please so see her🩷

I recently attended a ground breastfeeding class at Nurture Lactation led by Rachel and my experience was exceptional! Rachel is extremely knowledgable and not to mention, very kind. She spent an hour and a half breaking down the basics (and non-basics) of breastfeeding. She also provided us with supplemental material we could reference later at home. I left feeling confident and prepared (as much as a first time mom can) to begin my breastfeeding journey. Could not recommend Nurture Lactation more!

Rachel is so knowledgeable, helpful, and truly listens and cares! I so appreciate that she takes insurance, takes the time to establish care prenatally before baby is born, and prioritizes meeting soon after birth to help establish a strong breastfeeding journey. Highly recommend establishing care during pregnancy or seeing postpartum with any lactation questions!

Grateful is a serious understatement. My newborn has pretty restricted ties and I was desperate to get help latching as my nipples were already pretty damaged 2 days postpartum. She helped me with latching in a way that made it less painful and now we have a game plan on treating her tie if it comes down to it. She also covered other really useful things and it was overall such an informative session. I am looking forward to going back!

I had a wonderful prenatal visit with Rachel. Even though I work in the medical field I know so little about preparing for breastfeeding. This consultation helped so much. She also helped me with deciding on a breast pump. I feel much better and ready for when our baby arrives. I’m very excited to continue working with her postpartum too! Highly recommend.

Rachel helped my newborn get a better latch, my nipples were so traumatized I was ready to give up! She also showed me how to work my pump. Rachel is kind and patient and I highly recommend her! I was able to access her services for free via The Lactation Network using my insurance!

10/10!!! Rachel was so helpful! My newborn was having a little bit of an issue with clicking when he nursed and struggled with my fast let down and Rachel helped me with ways to make nursing easier on both of us! I’m so thankful that our bf journey has been so great with her help!
