About me

My name is Haley, and I am a dedicated Pediatric and Neonatal Registered Nurse (BSN, RN) with over seven years of specialized experience in both Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) settings. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, I now reside in South Beach, Miami, where I’ve continued my passion for newborn and pediatric care in a more personalized setting. Since transitioning from the hospital to in-home care, I have proudly served as a trusted Newborn Night Nurse and Nanny for families locally and I am open to families in Miami Beach, Fisher Island, the Trio of Islands (Star, Hibiscus, and Palm), and the Downtown/Brickell area. I provide overnight or daylight newborn care, feeding support, postpartum recovery and infant wellness guidance tailored to each family’s unique needs. My credentials include current CPR/BLS and PALS certifications, STABLE certification for neonatal post-resuscitation stabilization, and specialized training with Dr. Brown’s Infant-Driven Feeding™ (IDF) framework. I am also currently pursuing my certification as a Newborn Sleep Consultant, expanding my services to include evidence-based sleep training support.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working alongside Haley at our specialty hospital, which includes both a step-down NICU and PICU. Haley joined our team as a travel nurse and made a seamless transition into her role—immediately becoming a valued and trusted member of the unit. Personally, Haley was an incredible support to me during a time when I was returning to the bedside after time away. Without hesitation, she took me under her wing, guiding me through current best practices and reinforcing a strong foundation in safe, evidence-based care. Haley’s compassion is evident in every interaction she has—with patients, families, and colleagues. She is a gifted teacher who takes time to educate parents navigating complex medical situations, all while being approachable and non-judgmental. Her ability to explain, support, and reassure makes her an invaluable resource, especially for first-time parents, NICU graduates, or those caring for medically fragile children. If Haley can expertly manage the needs of 3 to 5 ill infants and children during a shift, it’s clear she can handle anything that comes her way in a home environment. I would strongly recommend her to any family—whether they are welcoming a new baby, adjusting to life with a NICU graduate, or simply in need of skilled support for peace of mind to promote restful sleep. Haley is a nurse you can trust wholeheartedly—with both clinical excellence and compassionate care at the core of everything she does.

We had the absolute pleasure of working with Haley M. as our newborn night nurse, and I truly cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment she joined our home, she brought a calming, confident presence that immediately put us at ease during a time that can feel overwhelming—especially as first-time parents. She is the definition of professional: always punctual, extremely reliable, and never once missed a shift. Her communication is clear, reassuring, and knowledgeable—she answered all of our questions with expertise and genuine care, no matter how small or anxious they seemed. Her background as a Pediatric and Neonatal Registered Nurse was evident in everything she did. We felt completely confident knowing our baby was in the best hands each night, which helped us get much needed sleep. She not only cared for our newborn with incredible attentiveness, but also supported us as new parents with helpful guidance, feeding tips, and sleep strategies. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and highly skilled to help care for your newborn during those first few weeks at home, I cannot think of anyone better to join your family than Haley. She was truly a gift to ours.
