I am the founder of Motheretreat, a doula agency serving South Florida from Miami to Boca Raton and Tampa Bay. Our birth doulas, postpartum doulas and overnight newborn care specialists are certified, insured and background-checked, and each one went through our own evaluation before meeting a family. You work with one coordinated plan: a primary doula, a vetted backup arranged in advance and a coordinator who keeps the schedule steady if your baby comes early or a shift has to move. Services: birth doula support (prenatal visits, continuous labor support, a postpartum visit), daytime postpartum doula care, overnight newborn care, and private childbirth and newborn care classes at home or online in South Florida. I am a CAPPA-certified birth doula and childbirth educator, a certified postpartum doula (Doula Link) and a breastfeeding counselor (AHEC); I speak English and Russian. Motheretreat is an approved provider for Carrot and Maven employer benefits and holds a 4.9 rating on Google from 190+ families.

I cannot recommend Inara Arauz enough! From the moment she became part of our journey, she brought so much warmth, compassion, and reassurance during both my birth and postpartum experience. As my birth doula, Inara was incredibly supportive, knowledgeable, and calming. She helped me feel informed, empowered, and cared for every step of the way. Her presence made such a meaningful difference during one of the most important moments of my life. As my postpartum doula, Inara continued to go above and beyond. She was so sweet, kind, and unbelievably patient with my baby girl. Watching the love and gentle care she showed my daughter gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to rest knowing she was in the very best hands. She also offered encouragement, guidance, and support when I needed it most as a new mom. I also want to give a special thank you to Laila, who cared for us as my postpartum doula on several nights. She was equally kind, compassionate, and attentive, and I always felt confident leaving my baby girl in her care. Her calm presence and genuine love for babies made those nights so much easier for our family. Both Inara and Laila have hearts of gold, and I am forever grateful for everything they did for our family. If you’re looking for a birth or postpartum doula who is experienced, caring, and truly passionate about what they do, I wholeheartedly recommend them. They made such a positive impact on our lives, and we will always cherish the support they gave us during this special time.

When I first met with my doula team, I felt an instant connection with Colleen. I felt so supported throughout my pregnancy and Colleen was always responsive, remembering my appointments and asking how they went. It always felt like she enjoyed chatting and keeping up, and she was also pregnant so we could relate! The morning I went into labor, Colleen was the doula on call, and she came around 6 am when my contractions were picking up. She set out some beautiful affirmations for me as I rocked on the ball, and she also suggested some snack ideas so I could get some food in. She remembered my birth plan and that I wanted to get to the hospital with a little bit more time than my last, and calmly used her expertise to notice cues that my labor was progressing and suggested that we head in. She supported me through contractions at the hospital with back pressure, affirmations, and encouragement. It was so helpful to just know someone else was there who knew my plan and desires and supported it all along the way so my husband could focus on my needs in the moment. When it was time for the baby to come, Colleen offered to take photos and let my mom step in and be right up front in the action. I’ll treasure the footage she got forever. I also appreciate that she supported after the birth for a few hours and helped refill my water, take photos, etc. Her follow up after was a bright spot in the postpartum period. Two years later I’ve moved away, and we still check in here and there and keep up with each other. I would absolutely recommend working with Colleen and the entire Northwest PA Doulas team.

I’m a travel ready (anywhere in the USA - domestic/international travel) CACHE Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Certified Postpartum Doula with experience caring for newborns since 1996. My specialty is helping babies settle into their own predictable rhythms through responsive, individualized care, safe sleep hygiene, and gentle, developmentally appropriate sleep conditioning. I combine decades of hands-on experience with evidence-based newborn care and parent education, with the goal of supporting healthy sleep while helping parents feel confident caring for their baby.

As a first-time mom and someone who really does not function well without sleep, postpartum was probably what I was most nervous about... (especially after having a necessary C-section!) I interviewed a couple different postpartum care teams and found the Newborn Dream Team immediately made me feel at ease. The first few weeks after giving birth were honestly a lot. Between recovering from my C-section, figuring out life with a newborn, and not having family in town, I was much more anxious and overwhelmed than I expected to be. I cannot thank Danielle, Pamela and Abbey enough for being there for us during that time. They were so helpful in those early weeks, not only with the baby, but with helping us figure out what worked for our family. They answered all of my questions, gave me reassurance when I needed it, and helped me feel more relaxed and confident as a new mom without ever making me feel like I didn't know what I was doing. I was breastfeeding, and they were so supportive of that while also helping us introduce a bottle. They always let us lead with what we felt most comfortable with and never made us feel pressured to do things a certain way. And honestly, being able to get some much-needed sleep knowing our baby was safe and in such good hands was *priceless.* They also helped us establish a really great routine and healthy sleep habits, and our baby was sleeping through the night by five weeks! We will miss Danielle and Pamela SO much, but it makes me so happy knowing they're always in our corner. I truly cannot recommend Newborn Dream Team enough. They made those first few weeks so much easier and more enjoyable, and I am so grateful we found them. 🤍

We are so grateful for Stacey’s help. Our baby went from waking 7 times a night to sleeping through the night much faster than we ever expected. What stood out most was how personalized her approach was. Her recommendations were evidence based, but always tailored to our family’s needs and comfort level. As nervous first time parents, having Stacey check in with us nightly and help troubleshoot in real time made all the difference. We trusted her completely after working with her as our postpartum doula, and hiring her as our sleep consultant was one of the best decisions we made. Highly recommend!

Ciera supported our family with postpartum doula services 5 days a week for just over 4 months following the birth of our daughter, and what a difference she made. She is professional, dependable and quickly became well integrated within the household (our older children were always excited to see her!). She has such a way with babies, our daughter very quickly developed into a sound overnight sleeper. We were also grateful that she worked with us to ensure we could be reimbursed through Carrot insurance. I would recommend Ciera to any expecting parent who is looking for calm guidance, professional support and loving care for their newborns.

I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. For all three, I had the same doula by my side sharing her 30+ years of wisdom. In 2023, I formalized my training and certifications and have been focusing on doula work full-time. Aside from parenting my sons, it is my biggest privilege and joy to serve mothers in this vulnerable time, and I look forward to knowing and serving you during your journey. I strongly believe it is the right of the birthing person to choose whatever path is right for them. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different. If you choose me to be by your side, my promise is to help you and your partner bring that vision to life. Knowing birth can be unpredictable, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel safe, loved, empowered and strong every step of the way. I would love to talk with you about your wishes for your birth. Get in touch with me today to set up a free consultation.

I cannot recommend Amanda enough! From the very beginning, she was incredibly nurturing, comforting, and supportive. She made me feel heard, reassured, and cared for throughout the entire experience. Her calm presence brought so much comfort during every stage of the process. She always knew just what to say or do to help me feel at ease, and her encouragement gave me confidence when I needed it most. Knowing she was by my side made the entire experience feel less overwhelming and so much more positive. If you're looking for a doula who genuinely cares about her clients, provides unwavering support, and will be your biggest advocate, I wholeheartedly recommend Amanda. I am so grateful to have had her by my side and couldn't imagine my birth experience without her.

We hired Courtney as our full-time nanny right before our twins turned 2. She remained with us until the kids started attending daycare full-time. Everyday day our kids were so excited for Courtney to come over, a factor that my spouse and I felt was very important. Each day she planned different activities and age-appropriate crafts that helped develop their motor skills and cognitive development. When it was time she, also, helped the kids prepare for their next adventure and developmental step (daycare), something which I am eternally grateful. Our children still think of their time with Courtney fondly. We enjoyed and appreciated having Courtney with us for as long as we did.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Shannon and the support she gave me as my birth and postpartum doula for both of my babies. She is the best support person and an even better advocate. She also made sure my births were the way I wanted them to be. She was even there for my 2nd birth when we were told 4 weeks early I would have to be induced that day. I’m so grateful I got to experience her support with both of my children. If you’re looking for someone who will make you feel heard, supported, cared for, and never alone during your birth and postpartum journey, I couldn’t recommend her enough. ❤️

She did not have availability to help me at night, but made herself available as much as possible during the day so I could get some much needed sleep. So so grateful for her. Highly recommend!!

We hired Ms. Veronica as a night doula and newborn care specialist for our two daughters. We first reached out to Ms. Veronica before the birth of our first daughter and worked with her during those early months, then again when she traveled with us for the birth of our second daughter, when we hired her as our Traveling Doula. We highly recommend her as a doula in any capacity. As we were getting ready and preparing for the arrival of our first baby, we learned about the classes Ms. Veronica offers as a New Parent Educator. We decided to take three private one-on-one classes with her, including her One-on-One Newborn Care Class and New Daddy Doula Class. These sessions gave both of us the opportunity to learn together and prepare for what to expect before bringing our baby home. As first-time parents, having that education and preparation before our daughter's birth was incredibly valuable and helped us feel much more knowledgeable and confident going into parenthood. Her expertise in newborn care was obvious from our very first weeks with her. She shared countless tips we never would have found in a book or online, drawn from her many years of experience. Neither of us had much prior experience raising babies, but we already felt confident after just two meetings with her.We specifically wanted a doula who wouldn't simply take over, but who would guide us so we could continue providing the best care for our children after she was gone. Ms. Veronica was thorough in communicating and explaining her reasoning behind everything she did. She was meticulous about tracking feedings and wet diapers, and always had a plan to keep our babies happy and thriving in their earliest months. We were also impressed by how flexible she was with our dates, since it's notoriously hard to predict when a baby will arrive. This was put to the test when she traveled with us for our second daughter as our Traveling Doula. A situation that normally would have been stressful and exhausting, but she made it far easier to manage. She was also accommodating about adjusting our daily schedule, since we were both still working and not yet on parental leave. The moment we remember most is how she sleep-trained our first daughter. She built a plan and continually adapted it as needed, quickly getting our daughter to 12 hours of sleep through scheduled feedings - a change that gave us both much-needed rest. Even today, our daughter still sleeps 12 hours every night. We honestly believe every parent should have someone like her whether they are first-time parents or need a helping hand. It can feel a little intimidating to have someone new caring for your newborn, but we never once hesitated to trust her. She cares for your baby as if it were her own, while setting you up for success as first-time parents.

I am a full-spectrum doula, offering support in reproductive health, birth and labor, and postpartum care in Connecticut and Rhode Island. I love doula work because I deeply value the one-to-one relationships I build with clients, walking alongside them during one of the most important and transformative experiences of their lives. My passion for supporting, educating, and empowering people giving birth comes from my commitment to addressing the maternal and infant health disparities that disproportionately affect Black women. My goal is to help all birthing people—especially Black women—feel confident, informed, and supported by: learning to trust their bodies, learning to trust themselves to make informed decisions and advocate for the birth experience they desire, and receiving culturally responsive, non-clinical emotional, physical, and informational support before, during, and after birth. It would be an honor to support you on your birth journey. I work collaboratively with you and your support team to create an experience where you feel confident, informed, and surrounded by care, love, and respect.
