About Ciera

Hi Families! I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula serving families across the GTA, with a strong presence in the Peel Region. I specialize in lactation and breastfeeding support, offering compassionate, evidence-based care to help families feel confident and supported throughout their journey into parenthood. My approach is rooted in the belief that there is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to birth, feeding, or postpartum care. Every family is unique, and I take the time to understand your values, goals, and needs so I can provide personalized, respectful support that aligns with your vision. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating early feeding, or adjusting to life with a newborn, I’m here to walk alongside you with patience, warmth, and encouragement. Beyond my work as a doula, I’m a proud mother to my 8-year-old daughter, who continues to inspire my passion for supporting other families. In my free time, I enjoy expressing creativity through art and spending time gardening—both of which ground me and bring a sense of balance to the nurturing work I do. I’m honored to be part of such an important chapter in your life and look forward to supporting you every step of the way.

During the prenatal period, I provide education, preparation, and emotional support to help you feel informed and confident as you approach birth. This includes discussing your birth preferences, exploring comfort measures, understanding your options, and preparing you and your partner for the experience ahead. As your birth doula, I offer continuous physical, emotional, and informational support during labor and delivery. My role is to help you feel grounded, supported, and empowered—advocating for your needs while creating a calm and reassuring presence. Ciera supported our family with postpartum doula services 5 days a week for just over 4 months following the birth of our daughter, and what a difference she made. She is professional, dependable and quickly became well integrated within the household (our older children were always excited to see her!). She has such a way with babies, our daughter very quickly developed into a sound overnight sleeper. We were also grateful that she worked with us to ensure we could be reimbursed through Carrot insurance. I would recommend Ciera to any expecting parent who is looking for calm guidance, professional support and loving care for their newborns.

Ciera was exactly the energy I needed. Prenatal, she listened attentively, allowed for me to lead, and jumped in proactively when I needed. Showed up on time during labor and stayed with me overnight at home and hospital, providing the calm energy I needed, adding to my birth experience and ensuring its a positive one. I am so grateful for her time and expertise, and highly recommend her doula services.
