There are times in my life where I choose not to take pictures because I want to focus on the memory in mind. I want to remember every detail possible and the emotions I felt during that time. When I had my twins, this was my focus and I regret not taking more pictures of this special time to share with them as they get older. When I had my son, I chose to work with Paulina so that I could live in the moment and also have those pictures later to remind me of one of the most important days in my life. Her work is breathtaking looking at the photos as well as watching the video of my son's birth brings me back to that rare spectacular day emotionally. She not only has enormous talent, but is highly respected by doctors, hospital staff and is incredibly knowledgeable about so many aspects of the birth. Paulina was inconspicuous and I didn't even know she was there until I needed her. I needed her because she said the most positive and encouraging words and was so supportive of me and my choices for my birth. I only wish I would have met her sooner and that everyone who is going to have a baby realizes the numerous benefits of having Paulina as a birth photographer.

Where do I even begin. I was researching and looking for a birth photographer for the birth of our son and I came across Paulina. From the first phone call with her, I felt a deep connection. She spoke to me about birth photography and pregnancy with such passion. I immediately knew I wanted her to be the one to capture the most important and sacred day of my life. I had so many questions and she always had the time for me and made me feel capable and strong. She gave me so much information and led me to wonderful people in the birth world which resulted in a beautiful birth. I am thankful for her. It’s hard for me to put into words the amount of gratitude I have for Paulina and her work. Before I knew her as a person, I was in love with her work. Her natural ability to capture birth’s rawness and real emotion was captivating to me. You can tell she pours her heart into every client she has. The IG posts of positivity sent at 2 am, the reassurance when I would get a moment of doubt, the LOVE texts at 9pm after she would put her kids to bed- she was a forever light in a very uncertain and frankly, nerve wracking time as a first time mom.<br>I haven’t even touched on the pictures. THE PICTURESSSSS!!!! Oh my gosh. Anytime I see them, they bring tears to my eyes. I was in labor Lala land and couldn’t fully grasp anything going on around me. She was able to capture everything. All the emotions, all the vibes, everything I prepared for and wanted to see . my birth didn’t go as planned but she made sure to fulfill the pictures of my birth package, once little babe was here.<br>I will forever be grateful to Paulina for her guidance, my beautiful pictures I will have forever, her love but most of all her friendship. I will always look back on this time of my life and remember that she was a huge positive part of my journey. She will always be a part of my story and my family forever.

I was going to have a home birth and wanted to be able to have someone photograph the whole labor process and birth of my son. I knew how important that was for me to be able to have those memories!<br>My sister referred me Paulina, and the very first time I talked to her I knew she was the one and I didn’t have to contact any other photographers.<br>Talking to her felt like I was talking to a best friend, and when I found out I couldn’t have a home birth due to pre eclampsia I was devastated and Paulina was very loving and compassionate with everything that I was feeling, she understood what I was going through, and she kept reassuring me everything was going to be fine. She calm me down and I started to understand that God’s plans were different than mine and I just had to trust Him.<br>You can also message her at anytime and she WILL get back to you right away, which gives us peace of mind since babies are so unpredictable and can come at anytime.<br>One more thing I think it’s important to mention is that birth photography is something so personal and I can’t imagine having someone you never met in your life getting into your privacy and you feeling uncomfortable with that person, that’s why the connection Paulina builds with you from the beginning is SO IMPORTANT and you’ll feel like she’s part of the family and you know her since forever.<br>She didn’t just stand there taking pictures, she was my support, she was proactive, always making sure I was hydrated , calm, laughing through pain, listening to my music, she was supporting me every step of the way, again, she felt more like a best friend than just a photographer.<br>If I can refer her a thousand times I will, best birth photographer and friend :)
