I don't even know if I can truly put into words just how thankful I am for Andie and her family of doulas at Little Blue Elephant... but I'll try. Being a new mum to a beautiful little girl, living on the other side of the world with no village, support or family and a husband that travels weekly for work - it's easy to feel overwhelmed, tired, anxious and honestly, a little bit lonely at times. My husband hiring Andie to help postpartum, has been the best decision we could've possibly made. I often tell Andie that she is a real life angel. Watching her, and honestly, her whole entire family, be so calm, nurturing, attentive and kind to my daughter at every single interaction, always makes me feel so at ease that she is being cared for by the very best while I get a restful night's sleep. The way Andie has held and continues to hold me and my family during postpartum has been nothing short of amazing and I will be forever grateful for her. From advice on c section recovery, feeding, burping, pumping, reflux, gas, bathing, diaper rash, naps, schedules and more - she always goes above and beyond and has always offered a wealth of knowlege, without judgement, while confidently answering any question or concern I may have. Washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, folding baby girl's laundry, labeling bottles, feeding and soothing my daughter to sleep throughout the night, changing diapers, administering medicine or cream if needed and taking the time to really check in with me mentally each visit... The care is truly second to none. Andie and her family have become my villiage and I couldn't be any more grateful for each and every one of them. Andie always arrives early and is willing to do an extra shift or stay a little longer or start earlier at short notice if needed... I know that I can always count on her which can be really rare to find. She's super accommodating, incredibly reliable and has amazing communication skills - sending overnight reports via text as soon as she leaves in the morning so I know exactly how my daughter's night went and when she is due to wake, feed and be changed next. Andie truly is just an all round wonderful human to be around and her care extends well beyond just getting a restful night's sleep. I always look forward to having a chat with her when she arrives, not just about giving her updates on my daughter, but as a friend catching eachother up on how the week's been and what is going on in our lives... something that has really been invaluable for my mental health postpartum and living so far away from home and family. Andie is our regular postpartum doula each week but I have also had the pleasure of meeting and working with all the doulas from Little Blue Elephant - Jamie, Ali and Aleks... all of which have been just as wonderful, and I also feel like it needs a mention, that every single one of these ladies have been incredibly kind to our animals too. I will never forget Jamie's kindness the first night of having overnight care. She was warm and kind and sat with me for almost an hour talking about my birth and genuinely wanting to know how I was feeling mentally. She gave me comfort and reassurance when I needed it most and she made me feel so safe that I genuinely felt like I was chatting to an old friend. In between taking care of my daughter and loving on her, she also took the time to make me a personalized Amazon store front so that I could easily look at items to purchase that she felt might help me and my daughter. Since then, Andie has also added to the store front with many other great reccomendations. I appreciated this so much as being a new mum, I didn't have the time to do this myself, nor did I know what I should be looking for. Jamie still checks in every now and then to ask about how my daughter is doing and wishes me happy holidays - and every time it makes me feel so special to be thought of and cared for. She has an incredibly kind heart and what a joy it is to be around her... what a joy it is to be around them all. I cannot sing the praises of each one of these ladies enough. If we get so blessed to have another child, I've already told Andie that I want her by my side for the entire journey - from prenatal to the birth to postpartum. I value and trust Andie and her wonderful family implicitly, and would not only highly reccomend their postpartum doula service, but also every single other service they have to offer. I can't begin to say enough good things about Cari. From the moment we first began messaging, to our first meeting, all the way up to the amazing unmedicated birth of our second daughter. We are not strangers to an unmedicated birth, as that is what we did with our first daughter, but Cari helped make the experience with our second not only even better but much calmer and secure all around. Cari was informative in not just the potential outcomes of the birth we WANTED, but she made sure to take the time to cover what-if scenarios. What we were looking for in a Doula was someone who was willing to take the time to get to know us well before baby #2 was born, but also someone with a kind vibe/aura (IYKYK), who could advise us on some additional labor coping movements and massage/pressure points, and she did all of the above plus more. If we have another baby, she will undoubtedly be our Doula again. I genuinely recommend her on all levels. Even after our daughter was born, she stayed with us in the birth center for hours until I felt well and recovered enough for her to leave us (and this was past 1 am). She captured some absolutely precious, beautiful, and raw photos of our birth, on top of doing a newborn photoshoot for us. Themed and set where we wanted, yet again surpassing all expectations. She includes postpartum support as well, and she is so sweet when she came for her postpartum visit, she brought a batch of the most AMAZING lactation cookies ever (and might I say they sure worked for me!!). Cari will undoubtedly take the time to listen and form a plan that you want while informing you of all possibilities and taking care of you like a member of her own family, honestly. And who doesn't love a fellow nerd? Look no further. She IS the doula for you. THIS is the sign you're looking for.

Where do I begin…… If there’s one thing The Most High will do is cover HIS daughters I must say I couldn’t have asked for a better doula. I didn’t expect I was going to actually obtain a doula so last minute (8 months) within my pregnancy but also one that understood my birth plan. Ruth made it her business to support me in my boundaries set for medical care when possible changes had arised within the delivery. She is beyond helpful and knowledgeable in this field of care and made me feel comfortable and confident to bring in my first born son with her unconditional support. Never would I have imagined her to be able to be there for the 36 hrs of delivery but she was intentionally in ensuring my bonus daughter was tended to throughout those hours and I was cared for properly following within delivery and following his birth. Although the staff within hospital were very unbecoming with Ruth and the support of my family I couldn’t have asked for a better birth experience and it’s genuinely was because of her attentiveness to my care and the care of my son without any hesitation to tell staff what I needed when I needed it. I pray for every birth of my children in future in able to have her there to support me. Much love and respect for her purpose in this difficult field of care. I would recommend her 1000% over and over again. Ruth is a phenomenal woman and I’m so beyond thankful I was able share my birth experience with her ♥️

Sam, from the Zen mama Collective is awesome she guided me through every step of both of my pregnancies before and after both of daughters were born.Samantha really enjoys giving her all and goes above and beyond to guide and support her client before and after giving birth. Kristin Bunch is a true inspiration and a helpful person. She genuinely cares about how her energy affects others, to a point while she will read the room and I appreciate that. We didn’t always match well with physical touch, as I am a more reserved person who monitors who she allows to touch her. We first met Brittany as a pediatric sleep coach for our (then) 3-4 month old son. He was terrible at sleeping anywhere but arms during the day, bassinet at night only (but not for naps), not to mention he was outgrowing his bassinet quickly. Brittany helped us first get him on a better schedule, sleeping in his crib, and eased us through the transition to crib for naps and sleep, and helping her learn to get himself to sleep. We didn't really want to do traditional "cry it out", and her methods made us feel so much better while also making progress. He is now a pretty great sleeper at 10months old, and sleeps through the night most of the time, can get himself to sleep, and takes much better naps. We owe most of his sleep ability to Brittany!

Laurine was absolutely fantastic. She is extremely responsible, prompt, and very hard-working. In the short time that she helped us with our son, she helped us with her knowledge of sleep training and could not have been more loving and warm towards our newborn.
