About me
Hi, I’m Alkin Cadet, a Registered Nurse, Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, and founder of Anointed Cradle Co. I created Anointed Cradle Co. to provide families with postpartum care that feels both clinically grounded and deeply personal. Today, I lead a carefully selected care team of registered nurses, postpartum doulas, and trusted wellness partners serving families throughout South Florida. Our approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, and tailored to each family. We believe postpartum support should help parents feel cared for, confident, and less alone as they recover, bond with their baby, and adjust to their new normal. At Anointed Cradle Co., you are not simply booking a provider, you are gaining a coordinated care team committed to supporting your family with warmth, knowledge, and intention. Our approach is clinically grounded, culturally rooted, and centered around the unique needs of each family. Whether you are preparing before your baby arrives or looking for hands-on care during postpartum recovery, we’ll help create the right level of support for your family.

As a first-time mom, I had so many worries from if I was doing things “right” to feeling nervous about being alone with my baby. Finding Alkin was truly an answered prayer. From the very first meeting, she made me feel seen, heard, and supported. She never took over or made me feel inadequate, but instead came alongside me with patience and encouragement, helping me build my confidence as a new mom. Whether it was guidance on newborn care, reassuring answers to my questions, or simply creating a calm space so I could rest, Alkin’s presence was invaluable. What makes her unique is the balance of being both a certified postpartum doula and a registered nurse, she brings not only warmth and understanding but also deep knowledge and professionalism. She tailored her support to fit my needs and respected my rhythms and values as a parent. She truly eased the transition into motherhood and gave me peace of mind during those overwhelming early weeks. I’m so grateful and would recommend her to any family/friends looking for both care and confidence on their parenting journey.

Alkin was everything that our family needed. I was struggling emotionally and mentally with our 3 month old and a close friend suggested Alkin to us. There's some people that you meet and you can tell that they are genuine and they really care about what they do and she is one of them. Not only was she knowledgeable and provided care for our baby, but she was also a support system for my partner and I. We could not have navigated such an overwhelming yet beautiful season without her.

I had the best experience working with Alkin. From the very beginning she made me feel at ease with her kindness and knowledge. She has a way of listening that makes you feel truly seen and supported, and she brings such a calm and steady presence. Her guidance on newborn care and her emotional support made such a difference during a stressful time. It never felt like she was taking over but rather walking alongside me, encouraging me and helping me feel confident as a parent. I could trust her completely and I always felt that my baby was in safe and caring hands. I would recommend her to anyone looking for genuine support and compassion in those first weeks after birth.

I can’t recommend Alkin enough. From the very beginning, she created a safe and welcoming space for me to ask questions and be open about my concerns. Her knowledge and expertise were clear, but what stood out the most was the compassion and patience she showed throughout every interaction. Alkin never rushed me or made me feel like my worries were too small, instead, she really listened and gave thoughtful, practical guidance that I could trust. Whether it was helping me feel more confident in early parenting decisions or providing clarity during overwhelming moments, her support has been invaluable. If you’re looking for someone who’s not only skilled but genuinely caring and invested in helping parents feel seen, heard, and supported, I would wholeheartedly recommend Alkin. She has a rare combination of professionalism, kindness, and understanding that makes a big difference in this journey.
