She is a Childbirth Educator and Evidence-Based Birth Instructor. Moreover, Jennifer has training in breastfeeding, using a TENS Unit for labor, and the traditional use of the rebozo. She has served more than 250 families and has more than 9 years of experience that have taken her from St. Louis, Missouri all the way to Okinawa, Japan. After her husband's retirement from the Marine Corps, Jennifer and her family have settled in the Tampa Bay area. Her passion for birth work began after she had her third baby. In 2019, I became a Dona trained Birth Doula, obtained certifications in: Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), Postpartum Doula(PPD), Basic Life Support(BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), CPR, First Aid and trained in Benkung Belly Binding. I’ve had the pleasure of supporting parents with their newborns days and nights, provided care for families across states, families with multiples, parents with disabilities and supported births in both hospitals and birth centers.
