About me

Hi mama, I’m Sam. I’m a pregnancy, labor, and postpartum doula—and a former labor & delivery nurse—so I’ve supported women through both the clinical and deeply personal sides of birth. I know how overwhelming this season can feel. The questions, the unknowns, the “am I doing this right?” thoughts that come up when you’re trying to make the best decisions for you and your baby. My role is to help you feel informed, grounded, and supported every step of the way—whether that means advocating for your preferences, helping you navigate the unexpected, or simply being a calm, steady presence when you need it most. This is your birth, your postpartum, your experience—and you deserve to feel confident and cared for through all of it. I’m here for you 🤍

Service introduction

I provide holistic, evidence-based support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum—because each stage asks something different of your body, your mind, and your emotions. During pregnancy, we focus on education, preparation, and building your confidence so you feel ready—not overwhelmed. In labor, I offer continuous support through comfort techniques, positioning, advocacy, and calm guidance so you never feel alone or unsure of what’s happening. In postpartum, I help you adjust, recover, and find your rhythm—whether that’s newborn care, emotional support, or simply having someone there to lighten the load. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and give you the support you actually need in each moment.

Packages
Pregnancy & Labor Support
This package is designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and never alone as you move through pregnancy and birth. Together, we’ll meet for three prenatal visits where we’ll build your birth plan, walk through different scenarios, and make sure you feel confident in your choices. When labor begins, I’ll be by your side offering continuous in-person support—using comfort techniques, positioning, and calm guidance to help you stay grounded and supported through each stage. I’m on-call for you starting at 37 weeks, so you have peace of mind knowing you’ll have consistent support when the time comes. After delivery, I remain with you for two hours to support your immediate recovery, help with baby’s first moments, and make sure you feel settled before I leave.

Postpartum Care & Support
Postpartum is a time of healing, adjustment, and learning—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. During our time together, I provide in-home support that’s centered around your recovery, your baby, and your overall well-being. Each visit is 4 hours and may include newborn care, breastfeeding support, light household help, nourishing meals, and hands-on support as you heal and find your rhythm. Some days you may need guidance and reassurance. Other days you may just need rest while someone you trust cares for your space and your baby. I meet you where you are, so you feel supported in the ways that matter most.
