My philosophy as a midwife is rooted in both extensive personal experience and dedicated education. As a mother of five boys, including two natural births, one of which was born at home, I've lived through the very experiences I now guide others through. This invaluable perspective, combined with my Associate's in Midwifery from the MEAC Accredited Southwest Wisconsin Technical College and a Bachelor's from Texas Tech, has equipped me to serve as a midwife since 2022. I believe in fostering a supportive environment where birthing individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed choices throughout their pregnancy and birth journey.

My name is Orion Clements, the forerunner of Clements Doula Services, and I’m a Madriella Certified Birth Doula serving the DFW area. I decided to become a doula early in 2024 after realizing how much I wanted a career in helping others during some of the most vulnerable times of their lives. I am Shanna Hinrichs, and my story of community birth began over 20 years ago when I began supporting families as a doula, lactation consultant, and now midwife. I have known I was called to help women bring their babies earthside since I was a young child.
