I am a proud boy mom to three wonderful boys who will someday change the world. I am an Army Medic and EMT. I love helping people, but felt called to develop my passion for birth work after my second child was born in the height of COVID during an amazing home birth. I have learned that there is so much to be honored in pregnancy, the birthing space, and the postpartum period, and I love being able to help families feel empowered and supported during those transitions.

My name is Bailey Howell, and I am a certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula, as well as a pre-certified Labor Doula! I recently graduated from Utah State with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and realized that I have a huge passion for strengthening family relationships and bringing more joy into the home. Birth brings a substantial change to a family and my goal is to bring more education and support to new parents in order to make the transition to parenthood easier. I gained a passion for birth while making birth plans and creating roles for my own birth team during the birthing chapter of my life with my four cherubs. I was able to birth in various settings. I am all about doing things your way. I believe a woman should strive to have the birth experience she desires. I believe in a well thought out birth plan and in a unified birth team. Though things don't always go just as planned, having one is very empowering. I also have really appreciated the births I have been in where the partner is a strong presence during the birth. The power of a unified couple is not to be diminished.
