Working with Ariana felt like having a steady, supportive friend who also really knew her stuff. From the very beginning, she created a space where I felt safe asking questions, expressing concerns, and making decisions that felt right for me. She never pushed an agenda or made me feel pressured instead, she listened deeply, shared thoughtful and evidence-based information, and supported my choices every step of the way. Her presence during labor was incredibly grounding. Whenever I felt anxious, overwhelmed, or unsure, Ariana had a way of calming the room and helping me refocus. She offered reassurance, comfort, and gentle guidance exactly when I needed it. I always felt respected, informed, and empowered with her by my side. I am beyond grateful to have had Ariana as part of my birth team. Her care, compassion, and calm energy made such a meaningful difference in my experience, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for truly supportive, judgment-free doula care.

I am a Labor and Delivery RN, BSN, RNC OB with 25 years of high risk nursing experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, breastfeeding support and newborn nursery. I would love to use that lifetime of experience to help new families make a happy, healthy and enjoyable adjustment to the postpartum period. I want to do home and tele health visits to help support families in learning how to take great after birth care of mom and babies. Many couples in our area go home from the hospital feeling unsure and somewhat overwhelmed with their new precious responsibility. I would like to provide reassuring presence for them to make a comfortable, relaxed and confident start to their new job of parenting. I have a holistic approach to wellness and understand people's various approaches to what is best for their families. I have been involved with supporting a physiologic approach to childbirth since having my own sons 41 years ago. Supporting maximal health and wellness is my passion.

I live in OC with my three amazing children! If I’m not at a birth, you will find us at the beach surfing, playing, and enjoying the outdoors. I fell in love with all things birth when I became pregnant with my 1st child in 2008. As an avid reader and researcher, I made it my goal to learn everything I possibly could about the biology and physiology of birth, and how to have optimal health during and after pregnancy for both me and my baby. Like many first-time moms I have worked with, I had hesitations about giving birth to my 1st baby outside of a hospital setting. After all my research, classes, and conversations with midwives, I gained confidence in aiming for an unmedicated birthing experience. I found some lovely midwifes who had a midwifery ward in a hospital and gave birth to my 1st son unmedicated. Twenty-four hours of intense back labor from a posterior-positioned baby …but, I did it! My body actually did it! After birthing my first, statistically knowing it was the most challenging and longest labor, gave me confidence to choose home births for my second and third children. I had a successful home water birth with my second child and wanted to repeat that with my third. However, while laboring on the toilet with him, I suddenly dropped to my knees when he began to crown, and he became known as my bathroom floor “butter birth” baby :). Though I chose unmedicated births for myself, I do know it is not for everyone, which is more than OK! I quickly learned from my role as a doula that every woman’s body, medical history, and background are uniquely different. Many factors play into choosing the right birth for you. I am here to come alongside you, help you make an informed decision, and then support you every step of the way. I offer very personable and compassionate care. My approach is non-agenda-based, trauma-informed, and holistic-minded. No matter your history or past experiences, I am here to be a safe place for you. I will help educate, support, and advocate for you and your personal wishes. I look forward getting to know you and building a trusting relationship to where you feel 100% comfortable having me by your side for one of the biggest days of your life. 🙂 I am here for you! Cindy was our postpartum doula after the birth of our first child and having her support was amazing! Cindy provided overnight care for our son and supported me in my recovery as well. I have been in the child development field for over 10 years, working as a Certified Child Life Specialist in children’s hospitals and in foster care agencies around the country. I specialize in working with families in high-stress situations, working with them to develop coping techniques and utilizing wellness strategies to promote a sense of peace in the home. Education is empowerment and I will always work to provide you with all of the resources at my disposal to ensure that you and your entire family feel equipped to make the decisions that feel right for your unique unit. As a specialist in child development, I also provide insight and education on how best to support the optimal cognitive, physical and emotional development of not only the newest member of the family but also older siblings who may have a hard time adjusting to a new baby in the home. We were incredibly fortunate to have Georgia as our day doula during a challenging time. We hired her last minute after I had to stay in the hospital longer than expected due to postpartum complications, and she was a lifesaver from the start. She stepped in to support my husband at home with our newborn and continued to help us once I returned home, providing invaluable care for both our baby and my recovery. Georgia went above and beyond in every way imaginable. Her calming and kind presence was a godsend during what was a traumatic and overwhelming period. From picking up our favorite fruit and bringing coffee to helping with my first outing alone with the baby and managing my medications, she anticipated our needs before we even knew we had them. Her support extended beyond the practical—she helped us find our footing as new parents and brought us together as a family unit. Not only was she wonderful with our son, but she also provided the emotional and physical care we so desperately needed. We felt truly supported and cared for in every moment. Anyone who hires Georgia will be making one of the best decisions ever. She is a remarkable doula and an even more incredible human being. We cannot recommend her highly enough!

Hello Parents, I decided to begin my service as a Postpartum Doula because I have a passion for the wellness of women and children. I worked before as a Youth Liasion advocating for young people who battled homelessness. In my service, I met with several clients with little ones and they lacked the necessary resources to care for their children. I noticed the emotional strain that was placed on the mothers so I would help out where I could. I love spending time with children so I made the decision to become educated. My philosophy is this: you are not alone and it is perfectly fine to not know. You have support and you deserve it. My role is to help educate your family on how to care for your newborn and also provide emotional support so you can enjoy the process. Please feel free to reach out and contact me!
