About me

My name is Cindy Lelea and I'm a DONA certified Postpartum Doula serving the South Bay cities of Los Angeles County. I serve with an open heart and hands to help families through the joyful but challenging postpartum period with their newborn. I feel honored to gain the trust of families during such a momentous yet vulnerable time in their lives as I serve and support them in their home with guidance on newborn care, breastfeeding tips and support, emotional support, homemade meal prep , practical help with laundry, general tidying up and errands, and more, all while respecting the families space and privacy. As a mother of five grown children, I know firsthand how overwhelming those early days can be, and I'm passionate about creating a nurturing environment where parents feel truly seen and supported. Whether it's through offering emotional guidance, helping establish routines, or simply being an extras set of hands, I'm here to make the transition to parenthood smoother, more joyful, and filled with the support every family deserves. During my free time I love to sing and record songs, spend time with my husband and my family, chat with my sisters over the phone, and most importantly, pray and connect with God.

Cindy was our postpartum doula after the birth of our first child and having her support was amazing! Cindy provided overnight care for our son and supported me in my recovery as well. She provided so much guidance and support as we navigated all that comes with being a new parent! We are forever grateful for her care.

Bringing Cindy into our family for the first month as new parents was the best decision we made in setting ourselves up for a smooth start as a new family. Cindy caters her services to meet the needs of each individual family she cares for depending on what they need most. For us, she shared valuable insights on breastfeeding, sleep, baby care, resolving fussiness, and postpartum care, she made delicious snacks & meals that promoted my recovery and kept us fed, she was a helping hand with our newborn, made sure our furson got some attention, spent 1-1 time with me listening to my worries and concerns (usually while getting one of her amazing footrubs!), and helped ensure I had opportunities to recover and reconnect with my husband. Cindy brings a wealth of knowledge from her training and personal experience and has the biggest heart. We truly felt that she was part of our family and always felt cared for. Our only regret was that it wasn't longer! At the end of our time together, we felt confident as new parents, well recovered from the first weeks of survival mode, and that we had a lifetime friend of the family nearby. Cindy will be one of our first calls if we are blessed with a second child.
