Hello there! I’m Maristela Azevedo , a proud Brazilian with a heart full of warmth. I’m happily married and blessed with two amazing children. Now, they’ve grown into wonderful adults and started families of their own. Although they haven’t yet given me the joy of being a grandmother, my love for little ones has only deepened over my 25 years of experience caring for newborns and children up to the age of 8. Every step of my journey has been fueled by passion, dedication, and a whole lot of love. I pursued extensive studies to reach where I am today, cherishing each moment spent nurturing young hearts. My adventure in California began in 2000, and by 2003, I knew this was home. With two brothers already here and a sister in Florida, I found my place on the West Coast. You might hear people affectionately calling me Teka. This sweet nickname was born in 2006 when a client suggested it, finding Maristela a tad long for his little ones. Embracing it wholeheartedly, Bambini Doulas came to life. After all, Bambini is the Italian word for babies, and it perfectly captures the essence of what I hold dear.
