Hi there! I’m Amanda, the body & soul behind Solstice Birthwork. I became a certified full-spectrum doula through the TrustHer initiative to improve maternal health in Tarrant County. I offer support for fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and lactation in Fort Worth and the surrounding metroplex. My own experiences with pregnancy, labor, postpartum & lactation fueled me to develop a space where all families could be heard, honored & allowed to heal. I'm a wife and mother of 5. I love being in Texas! Moved here 7months pregnant with my youngest and have loved it every day since. Injury massage therapy is my background. With over 13 years experience working with the body and injuries. My personal experience lead me to doula work since 2016. I love what I do. I'm passionate about birth and informed consent. My name is Joy Lynn, a birth doula in DFW. I feel confident and called to support mothers as they birth their sweet babies; to empower women as new mothers are born. A little bit about myself: I recently began my journey to become a birth doula, with aspirations to pursue midwifery school and eventually become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM). I’ve always found the processes of pregnancy and birth to be such miraculous things, which is why I am so excited to be supporting mothers in this special way. Pregnancy, birth, and the beauty of new life are truly "glorious things!" The choice to pursue birth work sprouted after I began volunteering at a pregnancy resource center. I recently began my doula journey, knowing that helping mothers and their sweet babies during such a precious time was exactly what I was called to do! Hi! My name is Rebeca Gedeon and I am a certified birth doula located in Weatherford, TX. I love supporting moms in all labor and delivery locations, and with any kind of provider. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have supported moms through their dream births as well as birth plans that needed adjustment for medically necessary reasons. One of my biggest strengths is supporting mom in what they wish, but also being able to slow down and explain what is going on if plans have to adjust rapidly. I will labor with you at home if you desire, even if you plan to transfer to another location, and I will follow you into the OR if needed and desired. I am not only a certified labor and birth doula, I have added training with body balancing techniques to help you and your body navigate labor. I am familiar with Spinning Babies techniques. I am a StillBirthday student doula. And I am currently in training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Christian doula and love to incorporate quiet prayer and intercession into my care when it is desired. I've watched the Lord work miracles for families and believe in the power of prayer in the labor space. When I am not at a birth I spend my time homeschooling my children and playing with my children. I also greatly enjoy floral work, knitting and crocheting, and baking!

She is also a loving wife and mother of two children. She was deeply inspired to provide comprehensive prenatal and preventative education after surviving a near missed diagnosis during her pregnancy and postpartum season. After recovering from her pregnancy-induced health condition and learning what took her sister's life, Brianna dedicates her time to ensuring that mothers and families are informed during the perinatal year. She fulfills her hearts' mission through professional doula support and her non-profit organization.
