Having trained as a Doula and Prenatal Yoga Instructor in Washington, D.C., I gained valuable experience supporting mothers in fast-paced medical settings where advocacy and informed decisions are essential. Now based in Utah, I use these skills to create calm and positive birth environments where mothers feel heard, supported, and empowered to create the birth experience of their dreams.

Mary Alice was with me every step of the way: in my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. I came to our first meeting a bit nervous about my upcoming labor. She was able to quell my fears and support me in putting together a birth plan that I felt comfortable with. My husband and I left the meeting feeling confident and looking forward to the birth. During my pregnancy, she was a wonderful guide in answering any questions that I had. When I began laboring, Mary Alice provided the guidance and support that put me at ease. She was able to advocate for me in the hospital and give me the needed information to understand the choices placed before me by hospital staff. Her words of encouragement and coaching were exactly what I needed. She is truly gifted! She is clear in her communication and knowledgeable in this role. Couldn't have asked for a better doula!

I believe everyone deserves and needs physical and emotional support during birth and I’d be honored to be a tool in helping you achieve the labor you deserve.

I just delivered a baby as a gestational carrier on Feb 4, 2024 and I may be biased, but my wife Brianna was an amazing doula! This was her second delivery and she provided me with tools to help me with pain management and techniques to help get labor going. This was my first unmedicated delivery and I believe Brianna helped to prep my mind and body for a smooth natural birth. I used some of those techniques to naturally induce my labor and I went into labor with 48 hrs. I believe the teas and other techniques helped me have a quick labor that only lasted 4 hours from start to finish and those teas, stretches, dates, etc helped so that I did not tear. She had given me tips to try and prevent tearing and to naturally induce labor that worked perfectly and I had my best and easiest labor even with it being my first unmedicated delivery.

After the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Even though I had a good support system, there were many factors at play that left me feeling depressed, anxious, and like I wasn't a good mom.  Thankfully, I was able to receive appropriate care and I was soon feeling better! I felt so incredibly loved and held as I did the work to recover. Because of the wonderful support I experienced from the birth and postpartum world, I decided to transition from my former career of 16 years as a veterinary technician. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula through CAPPA and I am so excited to continue supporting the new families in my community!

Kylee was the most amazing doula I have ever had! I would pay her prices any day to have her! She was always so quick to answer any questions I had. The day of the labor she showed up so quick I couldn’t believe it! If I didn’t have her support during the labor I don’t know what I would have done. She helped me with counter pressure and tens unit that was a total game changer! I dilated all the way to a 7 with her help before I got the epidural! Her class was also the best! I’m so glad my husband and I could go together and feel so prepared for our labor. She was the best support and I felt instantly connected to her on our first intro call through zoom! Even though I didn’t know her that well I felt so comfortable around her! I would highly recommend Kylee and I tell all my pregnant friends about her and her class! Hypnobabies also really helped me have a great mind set for my labor!

Hello! My name is Lavinia, and I’m a mother who has personally experienced the profound journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. After facing challenges such as preeclampsia and caring for a premature baby, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and mental needs that arise during this transformative time. These experiences have shaped my passion for supporting other parents as they navigate their unique journeys into parenthood. As a Doula, my philosophy revolves around providing compassionate, individualized care, ensuring that each family feels empowered, informed, and nurtured throughout the process. I believe in the power of holistic support—whether it’s offering emotional encouragement, practical assistance, or simply being a steady presence. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where both parents and babies feel safe and cared for, allowing families to thrive during the birthing experience and beyond.
