I have been employed at Parkland Hospital Emergency Dept. for the last 8 years as a ER Behavioral Health Unit Tech. I also possess extreme interpersonal and organizational skills. I have received education for the doula role from Paradigm Doula Institute and ongoing continuing education. I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I love to be there to help during the most amazing time of everyone's lives and know what a privilege it is to be involved in such a emotional and private time. In my free time I love exploring my new home with my kids and finding new places to see! Family is everything so I love to spend all free time with them.
