About Cara

Walking beside families through the transitions of pregnancy, labor and postpartum is such an honor! I am always grateful to be invited into someone's birth or postpartum experience and strive to make each one more prepared and peaceful. I am honored when families bring their questions to me and work to stay informed of current trends and concerns so that I can provide relevant and effective support. In addition to Birth and Postpartum Doula certifications, I have trained with a postpartum chef mentor to begin providing nutritional support to mothers that accomodates the increased needs for recovery and lactation.

Do you offer payment plans, sliding scale or pro bono services?

Yes! Payment plans are available to reduce the financial load each month and are available for both birth and postpartum. Sliding Scale and accommodation for financial hardship are considered on request, and a limited number of local pro bono packages are available with provider recommendation.
