I give parents the tools they need to help them teach their child to sleep at night...and naps too! My approach to improving your child's sleep is pretty simple: 1. I will give you honest information about WHY sleep is so important for your child's well-being. (This will give you all the motivation you need to make changes to your child's sleep habits.) 2. I will lay out an easy-to-follow, step-by-step plan that lets you make some choices about what is the right approach for your child. (All children are different, and nobody knows your child better than you do. I encourage you to use your knowledge of your child to customize his or her sleep plan.) 3. I will show you how to measure success. (No, you shouldn't expect your child to sleep 12 uninterrupted hours on the first night -- although it does happen! I will also tell you what you should expect along the way.) This will all be available to you in a two week program that would include a one to one consultation, phone calls, and email support. Hi, I'm Ashley! I found a passion for Birth and Postpartum Services after the birth of my first child. I am certified through The International Doula Institute and have a background in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children from birth to 6 since I was 17 years old. I started my career with infants and children as an infant room teacher, I worked through the ages and enjoyed my time as a Lead One-Year-Old teacher, but my passion was infants. I also spent 2 years as an Assistant Georgia PreK teacher and was the Assistant Director of a local childcare facility. I now have 3 children of my own, 2 girls and 1 boy, all school-aged. My passion is guiding and helping families navigate adding a new family member whether it is your 1st or 5th child. There are challenges that come with every stage, and I love being there teaching and helping to guide and make the transition as smooth as possible.

After dedicating 23 years to being a stay-at-home mom for my three children, I made a significant decision in November 2022 to channel my time and energy into pursuing my passion for becoming a labor and birth doula. Reflecting on my own four deliveries, I realized the immense value a doula could have provided by offering education, empowerment, and encouragement to advocate for myself. I chose the certification program aligned with my goals, completing 27 hours of in-person learning. Throughout 2023, I delved into extensive reading, writing, and research to enhance my knowledge and capabilities, culminating in my first doula experience at the end of the year.

I believe every person deserves to feel supported, informed, and empowered during one of the most transformative times in their lives. She helps families by using mindful, science-based methods to lay a healthy sleep foundation for babies and toddlers!
