Hi, I’m Carrie-Lee! I grew up in a house full of chaos and kids. I'm one of nine siblings, with a mom who ran a home daycare for 30+ years and a sister who is also a nanny. So, caregiving isn’t just what I do, it’s pretty much woven into my DNA! Between that and raising my own three kids, supporting families has always felt like second nature. My oldest is up in Maine, working on building his yurt and achieving the off-grid dream. My middle kid is a Junior at Keene State, fully immersed in the world of theater tech, making sure the show always goes on! And my youngest is a vocalist who will be attending Berklee College of Music this fall. Raising them has been the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done—and proof that every kid comes into this world with their own wild, wonderful personality. When I’m not up late with newborns, you’ll probably find me camping, roller skating, or practicing archery—because balance and precision are key in both work and life. Or at least, that’s what I tell myself! My style is laid back and nonjudgmental. I'm easy going and ready to pivot depending on your needs and how they may change. Hi! I'm Naomi. I am a Certified Practitioner Midwife choosing to focus on providing birth and postpartum doula support. I keep my Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) cards active at all times. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula. I believe that if women/birthing persons and their babies were truly supported in the way they most need, we would have peace on Earth. I decided to become a midwife and doula because I want to make the world a better place, and I believe the way to do that is to bring compassionate support to mothers and their babies. I received my training through Maternidad La Luz (birth center on the US/Mexico border) and the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). I have attended around 150 births and have provided care for many newborns. I currently run Little Angel Doula and work part time as a midwife assistant for a local home birth practice. My philosophy centers around trusting the birthing body and trusting the process of transition into parenthood. I am a firm believer in the power of gentle touch and calm words, good rest, good nourishment, and laughter. I have confidence in my heart and my hands to be there for you and your child.
