Labor and delivery was my FAVORITE unit but I knew that, that was not the way I wanted to help birthing people. As my own family grew my desire to have an out of hospital birth increased. With my fourth and fifth pregnancies I was able to fulfil those desires with my sister acting as my doula. With the level of care I received I knew that being a birth worker was where I could help!
