I am a certified labor doula through MaternityWise Institute and currently working on certifying with them for Postpartum, Lactation, CBE, and more. I am constantly researching and willing to broaden my knowledge to be the best I can for my families. I am a mother of four boys, 3 of which had NICU time (2 micro preemies and 1 term). I have experience with children with special needs (oxygen, g-tube, reflux, developmental delays, and more). I am very compassionate and empathetic to the needs of my clients. I am passionate about supporting families through holistic childbirth education and postpartum wellness with placenta encapsulation. I have been a childbirth educator since 2018 and have encapsulated over 100 placentas. My greatest joy in this work is being a bystander of the power that a birthing person holds to choose the way they wish to welcome their sweet baby.

Growing up I spent a lot of time watching young children; I don't recall a time when I wasn't holding someone's baby. As an adult, I enjoy spening time with my nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Welcome! I'm Bri, a longtime baby whisperer & children's rights advocate. I trained as a Birth Doula in 2017 after supporting a friend through a traumatic pregnancy & loss. After serving my community for several years as a community doula, trainer & facilitator I transitions into postpartum care. In 2019 I received my newborn care specialist training from NCTA, & in 2025 I certified as a postpartum doula also with NCTA. I am also fully vaccinated, infant First Aid & CPR certified and NRP certified. I completed Phase 1 of my midwifery program but am on sabbatical from the program at this time. I believe in approaching client care as a member of your family's team, available to help and support you without judgment.
