Hi I’m Ashley. I’m a certified childbirth educator, birth, and postpartum doula. We live in a culture where we are encouraged to “take charge” of our lives and bodies, but that doesn’t seem to be the case when it comes to women in labor. I grew up hearing stories from ladies (and still do) who only remembered pain and feeling completely powerless during the birth of their children. How a women remembers her birth can greatly affect the rest of her life. Was it a traumatic experience or a beautiful one? What I’ve learned throughout my years of being a doula as well as a mother is labor does not have to be traumatizing. The birth of your children can be a beautiful and empowering moment that you can cherish the rest of your life. I am honored to serve families in Mineral Wells and the surrounding areas.
