Hi! A little about me. When I was 3yrs old I told my parents that I wanted to be a baby doctor. Fast forward to college, and I was pre-med for two years before changing my major to Psychology. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Psychology but knew I still wanted to be in the birth world, somehow. I had two babies of my own and learned the term Doula. I had an amazing doula for both of my births, and both experiences were amazing for different reasons. I am one of the most driven, inspired, passionate, hardworking, family oriented person you will ever meet. Let me help empower you so you feel confident in having the best birth experience possible.

As a mother who has experienced it firsthand, I recognize the significance of receiving personal support while navigating pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the postpartum period. Following a traumatic first birth at a hospital, I was determined to have a different experience with my next child. I opted for a natural, unmedicated birth, trusting in my body's abilities. By staying attuned to my body during pregnancy, prioritizing hormone balance, and nourishing myself, I prepared for this journey. I learned how to take charge of my pregnancy, while trusting God and seeking His wisdom. Equipped with various coping strategies and having a supportive birth team, I went on to have a redeeming and empowering birth experience. This is how birth should be! No matter if that's natural or medicated, the mother should feel SAFE and SUPPORTED - having her choices respected. This experience ignited a passion and desire to support other women as they prepare to bring their little ones into the world. I believe in women's autonomy in their pregnancy and birthing choices, believing in their innate capability for this process as the mother. God created them for this! I serve women in various birthing locations. Certified by both DONA and The Biblical Birth School, I continuously expand my knowledge to assist my clients better, helping them to have a BLISSFUL BEGINNING into motherhood and beyond.

Becoming a doula stemmed from a deeply personal journey for me. As a mother of 5, I have personally experienced the highs and lows of childbirth, including heartbreaking miscarriages, and scary pregnancy complications that left me feeling vulnerable and alone. These experiences ignited a spiritual calling within me to support and comfort other mothers during their birthing journeys. I saw the need for a compassionate advocate to stand by their side, providing guidance, emotional support, and a comforting presence throughout the transformative process of bringing new life into the world. It is through my own trials and triumphs that I found my purpose as a doula, driven by empathy and a heartfelt desire to be a source of strength for other women during one of the most significant moments of their lives. The cost of doula services can be a concern for many expecting mothers, but I understand the importance and value of having a supportive doula by your side during this special time. Every woman deserves access to doula support, which is why we can work together to create a personalized package that fits not only your needs but also your financial situation. I believe in making doula services accessible and affordable to all women, ensuring that you have the care and guidance you deserve throughout your pregnancy and childbirth journey.

My name is Kayla Jones & I'm a birth doula in the Denver Metro area where I live with my husband Sam and Atticus, our Great Dane. I'm originally from New Jersey and have lived in Colorado since 2015. I have a degree in Social Work and a minor in Human Development & Family Science which is where I first found my love for momma's and their babies. After a few doors closing, God opened the door for me to be a doula. I sat in my first DONA workshop & cried as I watched birth videos knowing I had finally found what I was supposed to do. I view being a doula as the greatest blessing that I get to be a part of each of your "best day ever". The fact that my job is to witness miracles is something that I will never take for granted.

I became a doula to inform moms of things they may not be aware of. To support and care for women in such a sacred time is an honor. I want to do my best to decrease the maternal mortality rate for black women by ensuring they stand firm in their decisions and question any and everything. I offer pregnancy, birth and postpartum doula services. I am also available for virtual doula services for those who are out of state/region.

Hi, I’m Gabriela. I’m a Newborn Care Specialist and Postpartum Doula with a heart for caring and a passion that began when I was just a child. I used to tear up every time I saw a newborn, without knowing that one day, supporting babies and their families would become my life’s purpose. Over the years, I turned that deep love into a career through professional training and hands-on experience, supporting over 35 families over the past 8 years. My experience includes working with preemies, twins, NICU babies, and newborns with G-tubes. Whether it’s helping you and your baby get better sleep, offering guidance with feedings, or educating you on newborn and postpartum care, my goal is to support you with compassion and knowledge. Most of all, I want to be someone you can rely on during this precious—and sometimes overwhelming—time.
