Hello there! My name is Cynthia Alvarado and I identify as she/her. I'm happily married to a wonderful man, and we have a beautiful 12-year-old boy, who is currently in middle school. My journey in Baby Night Care began in 2011 when a dear friend of mine, who is a Doula, recommended that I take a Doula training course. At that time, I had no idea what a doula was, but I was fascinated when she explained it to me. I loved babies and was excited to work with them and nurture families in their postpartum journey. When I took my doula training, I was eighteen and pregnant with my son Julian Alvarado! Julian was my first experience with newborns, and it was an incredible experience for me. As I was young and had no work experience, I started as a part-time daytime nanny. Later on, I began doing night nanny work while still working daytime. I slowly started building my experience and resume, and eventually started working full-time night-time only as a postpartum doula. Since then, I have continued my education in newborn and postpartum care, and I've become a Certified Doula, a Certified Newborn Specialist, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and I've earned a degree in Child Development, specializing in infant care. I have been working with families for over ten years now, and I absolutely love it. I have combined all my careers to provide personalized care that fulfills each family's unique needs. I offer emotional and lactation support, education, resources, empowerment, and nurturing for the whole family, as well as baby care services. Hello, my name is Alyssa Ellison and I am a Postpartum Doula and newborn care specialist. I was born and raised in Carson, California and currently live in San Pedro, Ca. I've been a birth professional for about 7 years now and I thoroughly enjoy it. I got started in this industry almost by default. I am the daughter of the middle daughter of 5 girls. All of those girls (my aunts) gave birth to girls. If you can see where I'm going, I have seen a lot of birth over the years. Naturally I gravitate towards birth and the perinatal period where I find myself bonding with new and to be new mothers in assisting them with being an extra set of hands so that it allows them to be more hands on and better bond with their baby. I am looking forward to working with new families, creating new memories and helping to strengthen bonds within households.

I can help with housework, laundry, meal prep, caring for baby while Mom sleeps, showers or just takes a break. I can assist mom and provide referrals for/answer questions and concerns regarding the baby or her recovery. The benefits to my service is largely that mom doesn't feel like everything is all on her, during a time that she needs to focus on recovery.

Hi there! My name is Bri and I am a Full Spectrum Doula located in the Los Angeles area. It's my goal to help you prepare for the birth you envision and to set you up for success during your postpartum period. My name is Tina Louise and I love supporting families around their birth experience. I'm passionate about birth and working to improve birth outcomes in Los Angeles and surrounding areas. I attended my first birth at the age of 16 years in a homebirth community and knew this was a calling for me. I attended home births, birth centers and hospital births, and finally decided to become certified as a Doula in 2014. I have volunteered with Joy in Birthing Foundation, worked as a private doula under Doula Sisters LA and began with SBCC a as a Community-based Doula in 2018. I am experienced in all forms of doula support, Lactation, Childbirth Education, Spinning Babies, Placenta Encapsulation, Infant Massage and a Reiki II practitioner.
