After a beautiful and empowering first birth, although it didn't go according to my original vision, a fire was lit to come alongside families in their own birth journeys. As a doula, I will support you whether you choose a home birth, a planned cesarean, or anything in between. My goal is that you know your options, are supported in them, and are surrounded by feelings of safety and love. I have worked in a variety of capacities before arriving in the birth world. I studied Exercise Science in college, where I learned the amazing things our bodies are capable of when we treat them properly or move them in certain ways. I've worked as an exercise physiologist in cardiac rehab, and as a wellness coach in a hospital setting. I was in full-time ministry, working with college students and teenagers. In that capacity, I learned to meet people where they're at, to comfort and to “hold space” for someone. These experiences brought me to a new understanding of wholeness - body, mind and spirit. This set me up perfectly to team up alongside women in their birth journeys - one of the most life-changing events we can experience!

Hi, I'm Elizabeth! Being a mother myself to my two sweet boys, I have experienced the joys, pains, and fears that can come with pregnancy and birth. I can say without a doubt, though, because of my training and the doula support I had through both, it made them both joyful and peaceful experiences for me, even though they both looked completely different; one was a home birth and the other a hospital birth! I hope to provide my clients with the tools and support they need to be able to have that same experience. I chose doula work because I am passionate about helping women in such a transformative time in their lives. It is my desire to help as many women as possible achieve a beautiful and peaceful birth experience.
