My name is Jawanna Gaines, and I walk with women and families across the thresholds of birth, postpartum, womb healing, and, when needed, loss. My own journey — through womb surgeries, healing, and the calling into doula work — attuned me to the deep wisdom of the body and the sacred nature of life’s passages. I believe birth, like death, is not only a physical event but also a spiritual initiation — one that deserves to be witnessed, honored, and held with reverence. My philosophy is rooted in presence, intentionality, and ceremony. I am here not to direct your path, but to hold steady light as you cross your own, offering care that is gentle, grounded, and deeply human.

At Sacred Serenity, I offer holistic doula care that honors the full spectrum of womb and family life. My services include birth support through the Lighthouse Birth Experience, where I walk alongside you with presence, advocacy, and ceremony as you bring life earthside. Through the Womb & Threshold Series, I provide intentional mentorship for women navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or loss, creating space for healing and transformation. For mothers in the tender weeks after birth, the Postpartum Sanctuary offers nourishment, ritual, and in-home care to restore body and spirit. Each service is rooted in the belief that these thresholds are sacred passages — and you deserve to be held as you cross them.

The postpartum window — the “first 40 days” — is one of the most tender thresholds a woman will ever walk. Too often overlooked, it deserves ritual, nourishment, and reverence. Includes: In-Home Visits (3-5 visits, 3hrs each) Nourishment Support — warming foods, teas, soups for deep healing Ritual Practices — herbal baths, womb steaming, belly binding, Closing the Bones (after training) Emotional & Partner Support Guidance — space for reflection and family care Final Closing Ritual honoring your transition into motherhood
