My name is Jawanna Gaines, and I walk with women and families across the thresholds of birth, postpartum, womb healing, and, when needed, loss. My own journey — through womb surgeries, healing, and the calling into doula work — attuned me to the deep wisdom of the body and the sacred nature of life’s passages. I believe birth, like death, is not only a physical event but also a spiritual initiation — one that deserves to be witnessed, honored, and held with reverence. My philosophy is rooted in presence, intentionality, and ceremony. I am here not to direct your path, but to hold steady light as you cross your own, offering care that is gentle, grounded, and deeply human.

My services include birth support through the Lighthouse Birth Experience, where I walk alongside you with presence, advocacy, and ceremony as you bring life earthside. Through the Womb & Threshold Series, I provide intentional mentorship for women navigating fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, or loss, creating space for healing and transformation. For mothers in the tender weeks after birth, the Postpartum Sanctuary offers nourishment, ritual, and in-home care to restore body and spirit. Each service is rooted in the belief that these thresholds are sacred passages — and you deserve to be held as you cross them.
