Hello. My name is Yolyvette Boston, or Yoly for short. I am a Labor Doula, Birth Photographer and Student Midwife. I have been a doula for 3 years and prioritize the knowledge needed to enhance the support received during your birth. I was born in Puerto Rico, but San Antonio has been home for over a decade. I married my best friend Aaron, and we have a beautiful son named Noah. Being the last of six, I have been exposed to multiple pregnancies from a young age. Being present for my sisters ignited a fire and motivated me to continue to empower and support every pregnant person. I witnessed my first cesarean at 16 years of age, and it was an instant confirmation from the universe that I am meant to assist expecting families. Every pregnancy and labor experience is unique, and that is the beauty of it. No matter how many births or families you assist, they are all special in different ways. At times, the birthing person may want to give up, but all they need is a little motivation and support to flourish. Seeing mothers surrender to their bodies and finding the strength and power within when they want to quit has to be what I love witnessing the most. There is nothing like seeing how proud the birthing person gets afterward- as they should because they are amazing! Birth Photography allows me to freeze those beautiful emotions while you are meeting your little one. Those tiny toes quickly turn into smelly feet, but the pictures last a lifetime. After my own pregnancy during covid in 2021, I quickly realized knowledge is fundamental. When hospital policies are activated many of those on your birth team are replaceable. Now I strive to help your partner be the doula you need and prepare them as much I prepare the birthing person. I strive to be all-inclusive and helping all people. I am especially passionate about helping people of color, all genders, and military families. I was born into a military family, and I know family is not always around to help. Whether you are one hour away from the place you call “home” or a thousand miles, you do not have to do it alone. It does not matter what your birth plans are; you deserve to be respected, heard, encouraged, and supported during and after your pregnancy. I am also fluently bilingual in Spanish and English.

Hello! My name is Serena, and I am a labor doula, placenta encapsulator, and postpartum doula! I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and if I’m not working I'm usually with them watching TV. My all time favorite shows are Doctor Who and New Girl, though I’m sure you’d have a hard time finding a show I haven’t seen! I also enjoy reading, hiking, playing games, and spending time with my family. My first step into the doula world was becoming a Postpartum doula. This felt very natural to me, as I have been working in childcare for what feels like my whole life! I started off babysitting for my siblings and my parent’s friends when I was younger, became a teacher in the infant room of a daycare at 18, and a postpartum doula at 21. I decided to step into this field because I love helping families adjust to having a new little one! Supporting labor and delivery was a natural transition as I began working as a doula and stepping more and more into the birthing world. Labor and delivery is truly one of the most beautiful and fascinating events I’ve had the honor of witnessing, and I knew instantly that this is exactly what I was meant to do. That’s such a hard question to answer! For postpartum work, I’d have to say it’s the moments when something finally clicks into place. There's always some trial and error with each baby since they each have their own preferences and personalities, but I love the moments when you figure out how they like to be burped, the quickest way to get them sleeping, which formula works for them, and everything in between! I know it's not possible for me to fix every problem that arises, but it always such a relief when I can help with one. Adjusting to this new chapter of your life can be such a chaotic time, and I truly believe it takes a village! For birth work, my favorite part is seeing birthing people reach deep inside themselves and finding strength they never knew they had. The absolute relief and joy I can see on their face as they hold their little one in their arms for the first time always brings tears to my eyes.

I am a birth doula with certifications from DONA, Hypnobabies, and Stillbirthday. I am also certified in TENS usage and have my own units to use with my clients. I strive to educate, empower and support with a calm, quiet atmosphere, upholding the desires of the birthing person. I am also a certified Spinning Babies Parent Educator and a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (this means a carseat expert!) As a retired teacher and Air Force spouse, with seven children and two grandchildren, I have experienced a wide variety of personal birth scenarios and am particularly drawn to help military wives and those without family nearby. I found my calling in birth work at the young age of 16, where I was present at at a family members birth, and never looked back! After studying Biology at Temple University and devoting a portion of my life to modern medicine, I found a passion in Ethnobotany, which led to applying a more holistic approach to women’s health- -hyper focused on women’s reproductive health. I aid women in womb wellness through overall health and herbal healing by way of yoni steaming, abdominal chirapsia, and nutrition counseling. My doula duties are universally geared toward family-directed, physiologic childbirth, antenatal and postpartum care, newborn care, herbal remedies, reproductive care(pre-conception to postpartum) and placenta medicine.

My name is Sophie Perkins and I grew up in Kerrville, TX. I have been practicing as a doula since 2020, and I have fallen in love with this work. I have no children of my own, but my wonderful girlfriend and I have plans to expand our family. While I hope to be able to carry a child, we are very excited about the prospect of adopting or fostering children! My hobbies include spending time with my partner and pets, renovating our home, and reading. In 2016, a friend of mine got pregnant and hired a doula. Hearing her birth story was such a privilege and an eye opening experience! As the months passed, she shared with me honestly what it was like being a new mom–the sleep deprivation, confusion, visceral joy and love of having a child. I felt so honored that she would trust me, and I was inspired to find my place beside families as they welcome new children. I looked into doula work and was hooked immediately. After I was trained, I knew with certainty that I had found my passion.

As a mother myself, I'm passionate about childbirth, and just love spending time with babies!  I feel it is a true honor to be invited into a birth space as it is so intimate and sacred. I love serving families and bring babies to earth side Bringing new life into this world should be an empowering, beautiful experience, I believe that all expecting families deserves the support of someone trained and experienced in childbirth. I desire to provide education and help women and partners understand what is happening and make informed decisions throughout pregnancy and birth. I like to offer knowledge, resources support and confidence I receive my doula certification through Dona International. I have been able to attend Spinning Babies workshops I have worked as a doula at multiple hospitals, home births, and birth center. I am the proud mama of a magical 3 year old. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and watching the wild dance of our trees. I love eating and getting lost in a good book. I was born in Guatemala and moved to the states when I was 7 years old. Spanish is my first language. I got a Bachelors in Marketing at Missouri State University and moved to Austin shortly thereafter. I have been married for 6 years to a man who makes me laugh. Hi! I'm Lacey Dowlearn! I am a Birth Boot Camp certified Childbirth Educator and Certified Birth Doula serving Round Rock families. My journey in birth work began in 2007 with the first pregancy in my group of friends. She had mentioned wanting a midwife and I started researching. I had caught the birth bug and was hooked! The idea of women helping women made my heart happy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to be an apprentice midwife at several freestanding birth centers; labor support for homebirth, birth center and hospital clients in Round Rock and surrounding areas and have recently certified as a CBE and Doula with Birth Boot Camp. I've been married to my partner, Danny, since April 2008. He has supported me through this journey and is a great partner. I am a mom to two beautiful little girls, Annie and Jane. Both of my births took place in my home accompanied by a midwife, my very first midwifery preceptor. I breastfed both of my babies for 2 years, tandem for 6 months. That was such a wonderful and bonding experience. I want to provide the best care to each mother who trusts me with her birth experience, whether that be in hospital or at home. I believe that having a positive birth experience is the right of every woman. I will strive to help each mother and baby have a special delivery.

My name is Meghan Boudreau - Doula and Placenta Encapsulation specialist with River Wild. I am so honored to be a part of this amazing community and am looking forward to serving you! ​ I live in Leander, TX with my amazing husband Colten, and our three wildly, wonderful children. On any given day, you will find our home full of giggles, singing, dance parties, coffee aromas, and home cooked meals - just the way we like it. If you ask my children what I do, they will tell you I “help mamas get the babies out”. Bless. ​ I was submerged into the birth world at a very young age, witnessing home births and having a deep relationship with our family midwife. Labor, placentas, and babies were very normalized topics in our house. I had the honor of witnessing and assisting at my own mother's home births, and thus, my passion and desire to serve expecting mamas was born! ​ I believe birth should always be navigated with women at the helm. I believe every woman has the freedom and maternal instinct to move, dance, laugh, cry, or roar as she finds her own unique path through labor. My job as a doula is to hold safe space for her to do just that. To come alongside each family with full acceptance, compassion, and advocacy so that they feel freedom that is rightfully theirs.

Hello! I’m Gabrielle and I am a birth and postpartum doula. I was born and raised in a small town near Los Angeles, California and moved to Texas to open the first few In N Out Burgers in San Antonio. I met my husband and moved back to California to be more close to my family, but missed Texas- so we are back again! I have a husband, 2 kids, dogs, cats, and chickens. We are very active with our local shelter and almost always have a foster animal, or 3. For 2 years we lived in an RV traveling to 12 states, and we would love to see more. I homeschool my children, and in my free time I love to travel, explore nature, listen to music, and catch up on TV. I have a bachelor’s degree and I am currently going to school to become a Registered Nurse. After my second child, I realized how important it is to have a village. I believe if I had a postpartum doula, my fourth trimester would have been completely different. There are so many women that don’t have a good support system, even though everyone deserves one. Being able to help my family members and friends who were postpartum has been such a rewarding experience; it led me to seek out formal training in doula work so I could make a career out of helping people. I am a planner and love doing research. Even though birth is very unpredictable, I love being able to inform parents of their options, advocate for them, and be the calm in the storm. I have experience in creating birth plans, different positions to help labor progress, postpartum planning, newborn care, and breastfeeding.

She is passionate about guiding families through the intricacies of parenthood, offering her expertise to ensure they receive the support they need during this transformative time. In her role as a Newborn Care Specialist, Asia provides essential care for newborns, including sleep conditioning, bathing, feeding, and bottle cleaning, helping families to rest and adjust to their new routines. She is dedicated to adapting her care to meet the unique needs of each family, honoring their preferences and circumstances. Outside of her professional life, Asia is a mother of five and has enriched her caregiving approach with 15 years of homemaking. Her love for travel has deepened her appreciation for diverse cultures and the stories they hold, enriching her ability to connect with families from various backgrounds.
