Exceptional Support Throughout Our Birthing Journey! I can’t express enough how grateful my partner and I are for having Raquel as our Birth Doula. From the moment we met, she radiated warmth and confidence. Her expertise and unwavering support truly made all the difference in our birthing experience. Her calming presence during labor was exactly what we needed. Raquel provided continuous encouragement and guided us through various comfort measures. She ensured that our birth plan was respected and advocated for our choices, which was incredibly reassuring. Moreover, her knowledge of childbirth was evident at every step. Raquel answered our questions, offered valuable insights, and created a peaceful atmosphere in the delivery room. She was not just a doula but also a source of strength for both of us. Thanks to Raquel, we welcomed our little one into the world feeling empowered and supported. I wholeheartedly recommend her services to any expectant parents looking for an exceptional Birth Doula. She is a true gem in this field.

My childcare philosophy centers on creating a calm, loving, and supportive environment where both babies and parents can thrive. I believe that responsive, gentle care builds a foundation of trust and security for infants, while empowering parents with confidence and rest during the early days of parenthood. Every family is unique, and I approach each home with flexibility, empathy, and respect for individual values and rhythms. My goal is to nurture not just the baby. Still, the entire family unit, offering practical help, emotional reassurance, and peaceful routines that make the transition into new parenthood feel manageable and joyful.

Hello there! My name is Cynthia Alvarado and I identify as she/her. I'm happily married to a wonderful man, and we have a beautiful 12-year-old boy, who is currently in middle school. My journey in Baby Night Care began in 2011 when a dear friend of mine, who is a Doula, recommended that I take a Doula training course. At that time, I had no idea what a doula was, but I was fascinated when she explained it to me. I loved babies and was excited to work with them and nurture families in their postpartum journey. When I took my doula training, I was eighteen and pregnant with my son Julian Alvarado! Julian was my first experience with newborns, and it was an incredible experience for me. As I was young and had no work experience, I started as a part-time daytime nanny. Later on, I began doing night nanny work while still working daytime. I slowly started building my experience and resume, and eventually started working full-time night-time only as a postpartum doula. Since then, I have continued my education in newborn and postpartum care, and I've become a Certified Doula, a Certified Newborn Specialist, a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and I've earned a degree in Child Development, specializing in infant care. I have been working with families for over ten years now, and I absolutely love it. I have combined all my careers to provide personalized care that fulfills each family's unique needs. I offer emotional and lactation support, education, resources, empowerment, and nurturing for the whole family, as well as baby care services. If you need any help or support, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. I'm here to help!

Matrescence::: Embracing your journey of Motherhood I guide women through the unknown and chaotic journey, called birth. I am a compassionate guide offering soothing wisdom and expert support. My specialty is being a safe space for mothers to heal from past birth trauma. I help mothers reclaim their power and embody confidence for the next birth. ensuring parents feel seen, supported and ready to thrive. After my first born, I immediately knew that my birth experience was something amazing, transformational and empowering. I just didnt have the words, but after my first doula training I could better put it in a much richer context and support other mothers, pre-conception through postpartum. Over the next years I shared my story and supported mothers in my community as a doula. Eventually working as a full time postpartum doula, I realized a major barrier was during the breastfeediing journey. I followed my passion in nurturing mothers into their new normal, with confidence, comfort and compassion while training to become a lactation lactation consultant. I am now an expert wombkeeper- Waterbirth & Postpartum Doula, Afterbirth Restorative Therapist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) just to name a few. I find much pleasure and joy in nurturing new families as they discover, connect and create their family culture around the couplet. The cornerstone of my practice honors each mother’s unique journey of matrescence, the experience of becoming a mother. My resassuring, soothing wisdom and expert skills cultivate a visceral connection and safe space for new parents. I have traveled, trained and supported mothers internationally through pregnancy, labor/birth and breastfeeding. My signature, Afterbith Restorative Therapy Methods, support the new mother with restorative practices like belly binding, V-Steam, closing of the bones, as a time/space to reflect on their birth experiences. The Afterbirth Restorative Therapy Method not only provides a new mother with a greater sense of well-being; the new mother is better to care for herself and her new baby.

You'll receive multiple prenatal sessions and a postpartum visit as part of my services. Thank you for considering me to be part of your journey!

We just had our first baby. It turned out to be a great choice to have Renee as our doula. We had two fruitful prenatal sessions to prepare a thorough birth plan and to practice various techniques for coping with contractions and pushing effectively. She was also very helpful through my whole laboring process. With her help, I managed to make sensible decisions about medical interventions and had a memorable laboring experience without regret.

My name is JD (they/them). I am a nonbinary full-spectrum doula certified through Doula Trainings International. I support individuals and families in the greater Los Angeles Area and beyond. I am passionate about providing support during the vulnerable moments of perinatal events and outcomes. I provide evidence-based care and specialize in informed consent. I look forward to speaking with you!

JD was everything we could want in a doula and more than we knew to ask for. They weren't just incredibly supportive and helpful during the labor and delivery, but they were curious about us and our relationship and family and how that might influence what we would need or want when the time came. the time came unexpectedly and suddenly and JD was still there through the whole thing. My partner is nonbinary and JD was there with they/them reminders when we were exhausted, in addition to advocating for us with hospital staff, anticipating needs and bringing extra love and comfort to our efforts.

I am certified by DONA International and have worked with many families using carrot benefits so I’m familiar with the process. Aside from being a birth and postpartum doula I am also a lactation and parent educator. I can provide guidance and help with breastfeeding, pumping, storing milk and if needed supplementing with formula. My approach is to meet each family needs, to offer the education and provide different options and let family decide what works best and go from there. There’s no right or wrong way to do things.
