I have been working with new and expecting parents since 2006. I am a Certified Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator Counselor, and Perinatal Massage Therapist. Welcoming a baby into your life is exciting yet often overwhelming for new parents! Whether this is your first or fifth baby, I can help create a personalized (and practical!) postpartum plan that will enable you to confidently transition to your new family structure. Flexible Scheduling

Monday - Friday 9am - 4pm (3-hour shift minimum, $55/hr)
Limited overnight support (starting at $65/hr)

What to expect

I offer holistic, family-centered postpartum care during the 'fourth trimester' (birth to approximately 12 weeks). My goal is to help parents create a safe and serene environment where they can process their new identity as parents, bond with their baby, and recover from birth. Breastfeeding is natural, but it's not always easy, and having the right support in the beginning can help you reach your infant feeding goals. I specialize in lactation support and work closely with families as they establish breastfeeding in those first few days and weeks. In addition to feeding support, I offer newborn care & behavior education and postpartum recovery support. Parents' needs are often pushed aside as the new baby becomes the priority. I ensure parents have time for self-care and recharging each day so they can, in turn, care for their baby.

How long do you typically work with families?

This varies from family to family, but typically, I meet with families before the baby arrives to help them create a personalized postpartum plan. Then, I usually spend 4-6 weeks with a family—sometimes less, sometimes more, depending on their unique needs.
