I am a pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 15 years of experience working in private practice and educational environments. Throughout my career, I have become passionate about service children who are primarily non-speaking or who demonstrate limited verbal communication. It is my professional mission to show others that every child can learn, grow and communicate. I am dedicated to using my knowledge in AAC, motor speech and feeding approaches to help children develop strong relationships, demonstrate their knowledge, enjoy mealtimes and successfully interact with their world. I am a licensed speech and language pathologist specializing in pediatrics with over 24 years experience in the Massachusetts and Ohio areas. I currently have a private practice in the greater Cincinnati area that focuses on children with a wide range of needs. My prior experience includes work in the field of early intervention and the public school system before settling into my own private practice. I spent many years specializing in autism and worked alongside board certified behavior analysts (BCBA) daily. This provided me with extensive knowledge in the principals of applied behavioral analysis.

Tiana is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Labor Doula. She received her bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University and completed her master’s degree and dietetic internship from Kent State University. Tiana has spent the past 5 years as an Inpatient RD within the Intensive Care Unit and Progressive Care Unit with a focus of nutrition support. She became interested in birth work and doula services when she felt a calling to be the solution to the black maternal mortality rates. This calling was solidified when she personally faced medical and racial bias. Labor and Nutrition Dietitian was born to help women of color be empowered to advocate for their rights to have a better birth experience and provide nutrition education for mother and baby. Tiana serves the Columbus area and surrounding areas.

Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am the owner of Liberty Doula Services based out of Liberty Township, OH. I am also a certified doula and mother of four children. I have a license and Masters in Social Work and prior to becoming a doula, I spent 14 years working as a social worker in the community. While I loved getting to know and work with families, my passion lies in helping and supporting women and families in all stages of pregnancy and early parenthood. After having four unique births of my own, ranging from a hospital induction to a home birth, I realized there is a lack of continuous support for women in our society specifically related to pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum periods. I believe there are many missed opportunities to help set families up for success, starting with pregnancy and extending through the rest of their lives. I realized this was an opportunity for me to continue to support families in my community, but in a different way. This led me to become a doula.
