I am passionate about helping women have strong, active, and comfortable pregnancies, maximizing empowerment in labor, and helping women recover optimally postpartum. I utilize all my training as a physical therapist and my post-doctoral training in pregnancy and the pelvic floor to help women keep a strong core/body, eliminate pain during pregnancy, and prevent common problems like bladder leakage, back pain, core weakness, prolapse, and Diastasis Recti. I completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011 and worked several years in outpatient orthopedics while pursuing specialization in pelvic floor dysfunction and women’s health PT. Even prior to having my first baby in 2016 I had deep compassion for the unspoken physical trials of new mothers, which fostered the desire to offer natural, conservative treatment options for issues that uniquely impact women. I founded SHEFit because I believe that quality care requires personalized, one-on-one attention. I and my team are dedicated to hearing your story and creating a treatment plan based on your unique situation, goals, and priorities. Each PT on my staff has completed hundreds of hours of pregnancy and pelvic floor related continuing education, and is an expert in this field. In an effort to spread the word about pelvic PT, I periodically lecture for fitness professionals, healthcare professionals, birth centers, and the public throughout San Diego County. When not treating patients I enjoy time with my 3 children, running, pilates , weightlifting, hiking, cycling on the boardwalk, travelling, and just relaxing in the San Diego sunshine!

My name is Val, and I have over two decades as a birth doula in San Diego, California. I have a health care background and value this aspect of bringing my experience to all the births I support. My philosophy for birth, is to remember that a woman will always remember how she was spoken to, and treated on the day of her giving birth. I love this work, it is a calling and truly an honor to be invited to a birth. I had a mom tell me one time, while she was searching for a doula, after asking her sister who had used a doula for her second birth, responded with the following: "Using a doula is the difference of flying first class compared to coach!" This mom went on to have a fantastic experience.

Valerie was highly recommended to us by a hospital staff member at Scripps Encinitas who was familiar with her as a doula. From our first encounter she made us feel at ease, supported and excited about the birth of our daughter. She is open, honest, down to earth, warm and caring. She is 100% her own awesome unique person and 100% about nurturing your own unique person and your own unique birth situation and wishes. Having her available throughout my birth experience felt like having a friend, sister and coach by my side the whole time. She also got along wonderfully with the hospital staff and my family which made for a beautiful team.

As a certified postpartum doula my journey to becoming a doula was sparked by my own experiences transitioning into parenthood and realizing how invaluable supportive and unbiased care during this time can be . I support new families during the incredible and sometimes challenging transition into life with a new born . This includes things like offering breastfeeding guidance , assisting with light housework and most importantly providing a listening ear and emotional support as you navigate the joys and challenges of this special time . I’m passionate about helping families feel empowered and confident and also look forward to learning more about your needs and discussing how I can best support your family .

Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through NAU in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors and masters. I pursued becoming a doula because I have always been passionate about women’s health. In fact, I took up personal training because I wanted to help women in postpartum combat depression and snap back to theirselves. I witnessed many friends struggle with taking the army physical fitness test and figured there had to be some way to be of some impact for all women who may deal with this, in either their career or daily life. Being a doula is important to me because I believe that women need more support in child birth and labor. I want to be apart of breaking the stigma with childbirth being painful and scary. I want to be apart of making childbirth more comfortable and a beautiful experience for women. I also believe with my expertise that I could offer packages that benefit women physically and mentally pre and post partum.

I entered the world of birth work in 2016, and have been focused on expanding my skill set to better support families ever since. I became licensed in California in 2023, and plan to continue pursuing a deeper knowledge of birth as I serve my community. I gave birth to my son in June of 2023, and am deeply thankful for the gift of motherhood and the ability to care for my child. After supporting so many families in bringing their little ones into the world, I am still in awe of the transformative power of birth. I hope that through my care, I can support and encourage more families to expand their hearts and perspectives as they welcome new souls into their lives. In addition to standard reproductive care, I am also passionate about offering whole-person care, which refers to healing a person’s body, mind, and spirit as a whole unit. I believe that through this perspective, I am able to offer a truly individualized experience which supports a person’s healing and growth on a deeper level. I also hold a deep trust and admiration for my own intuition, which I find is my greatest tool in finding better ways to show up for my clients. By listening to my own inner voice as a healer AND teaching my clients to do the same, I hope to provide a deeper and more complete level of care.

I am a second-generation doula with a passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I am a trained as a birth doula through DONA International, and am certified for postpartum care through DNT Network. I am also privileged to be apart of the wonderful team at Leilani’s Wellness Center and Breastfeeding Fixers. With an undergrad in Early Childhood Development, I combine my educational background (I am a huge nerd!) and passion (with a huge heart!) to provide gentle guidance and care.

I can’t say enough good things about Megan—she was an absolute godsend during the postpartum period. From the moment she walked into our home, she brought a calm, nurturing presence that made me feel supported, seen, and truly cared for. She was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful of our space and routines, and seemed to intuitively know what I needed—whether it was a warm meal, help with the baby, a listening ear, or just some time to rest. Her gentle guidance helped me build confidence as a new parent, and her emotional support was just as invaluable as her practical help. I always felt safe and never judged, which made a huge difference during such a vulnerable time. I’m so grateful to have had her by my side in those early weeks, and I honestly don’t know how I would’ve made it through without her. Highly, highly recommend her to any new parent looking for compassionate and professional postpartum care.

I have been a client of Ing-Jun for 4 sessions. She is a nugget of gold hid amongst a host of practicitioners. She listens well and asks great questions. She then proceeds with expertise and confidence. She is pleasantly cheerful, never in a hurry, and very calm. These attributes enhance her discernment and expertise. I experienced relaxation even beyond massage treatment and felt my body rebalancing it's neuro system. I did not come to her with a pain issue, but seeking relief from stressful work demands and quite concerned about the toil that was taking on my mental and physical health. Very glad to have discovered her and to be under her care. TY for listening.
