Hello! My name is jabria but I go by Rosalind. It was a nickname given to me in the Army. My background is 12 years of medicine as a medic in the Army. I am still serving in the Army national guard. I have my certified personal training certification and group fitness certification; and I am currently enrolled in exercise physiology through NAU in pursuit of practicing medicine as a physician assistant upon completion of my bachelors and masters. I pursued becoming a doula because I have always been passionate about women’s health. In fact, I took up personal training because I wanted to help women in postpartum combat depression and snap back to theirselves. I witnessed many friends struggle with taking the army physical fitness test and figured there had to be some way to be of some impact for all women who may deal with this, in either their career or daily life. Being a doula is important to me because I believe that women need more support in child birth and labor. I want to be apart of breaking the stigma with childbirth being painful and scary. I want to be apart of making childbirth more comfortable and a beautiful experience for women. I also believe with my expertise that I could offer packages that benefit women physically and mentally pre and post partum.
