A little about myself! My journey in healthcare started in the ER as a patient care tech, and I became an RN in 2010. Shortly after obtaining my RN I stepped into the world of Women's Health. I have practiced in multiple arenas of Women's Health such as: mother/baby, newborn admission and nursery, labor and delivery, OB-GYN office, and lactation consultation. My journey with breastfeeding was brought on when I faced my own personal struggles with breastfeeding my first baby. I struggled with postpartum depression during that time and I did not feel that I had enough support from personal relationships nor from clinical providers. Because of this experience I became very passionate about providing support to other breastfeeding families. I never another struggling family to feel that they do not have the support and resources to reach their breastfeeding goals! I am married and we have 2 children and 3 pups!
