Jabria was an amazing doula. As first time parents we weren’t sure what to expect going into the experience at all. The tool’s & resource she offered made a huge impact when it came to preparing for labor. Her support during the labor was like a ‘sounding board’ for my boyfriend to check in with, when it came time to make decisions for me and our baby. I also appreciate how she was able to stay involved without making any of our family feel left out. Her continued support postpartum has been amazing. Jabria is family at this point, we’re so glad to have found her as our doula!

How can you help me with pain management during labor?

I can provide various comfort measures and pain management techniques. I will provide continuous physical support, such as massages, positioning suggestions, breathing techniques, relaxation exercises, and providing a calm and reassuring presence.

How do you work with other members of the birth team, such as doctors or midwives?

As a doula, I work collaboratively with other members of the birth team, including doctors, midwives, nurses, and any other healthcare professionals involved in your care. I respect their expertise and work in tandem with them to ensure your needs and preferences are communicated and respected. I aim to foster a positive and harmonious birth environment for everyone involved.

What is your policy regarding communication and availability leading up to and during labor?

I prioritize open and timely communication with my clients. I am available via phone, email, or text for any questions, concerns, or support leading up to your labor. During labor, I will be available to you continuously, starting from active labor until the birth of your baby.

How do you handle unexpected situations or complications during labor?

As a doula, I am trained to handle a variety of situations that may arise during labor and birth. I can help you understand your options, provide emotional support, and help facilitate communication between you and the medical care providers. In the event of unexpected situations or complications, I will work with the birth team to ensure you receive the best possible care while still respecting your preferences and goals to the extent possible.

How Do I Officially Become a Blooming Babe Client?

In order to be placed on my calendar a non-refundable deposit of half my fee (50% of the bundle selected) will be due upon the signing of the contracts.
