About me

Hi there! My name is Nadirah and I am dedicated to providing personalized supportive care to each and every client. I have been astonished by the birthing process throughout various stages of my life. From seeing my mom return home with my little sister while I was the young age of seven to virtually witnessing my older sister give birth to my nephew, birth is such a beautiful experience. I am a Registered Nurse with many years of experience in a variety of settings. As your birth and postpartum Doula, I will use my experience and knowledge to serve as an objective resource while you are making informed decisions about your birth experience. I respect and hold in high regard any preferences that clients may have for their birthing process, whether it’s at home or in a clinical setting. I will facilitate communication between clients, their partner/family, and clinical care providers. My role as your Doula is to empower, inform, and support you as you bring life into this world.

Service introduction

I offer 1-2 in-person prenatal visits with the development of a birth plan and postpartum support plan. Phone/text/email support is given throughout the entire pregnancy and postpartum. Included is labor support (hands on and virtual), immediate Postpartum support for a minimum of 30 minutes (up to 2 hours), and 1-2 Postpartum visits. Families also have the option to preserve a memory of their birth experience by allowing me to capture moments through picture and/or video. Basic lactation support is also one of the services provided.
