About Taressa

Hi, I'm Taressa! I'm a wife, mother, Full Spectrum Community Doula, Certified Breastfeeding Specialist, and Community Health Worker serving Metro Atlanta and West Georgia. My own journey to motherhood wasn't easy. After years of waiting to become a mother, I experienced firsthand that even something you've prayed for can come with unexpected challenges. Those experiences gave me a special place in my heart for mothers who simply need someone to listen, understand, and walk alongside them. I know how much it means to have someone who genuinely cares, someone who remembers the little things, checks on you, listens when you're worried, and celebrates the moments that matter to you. That's the kind of doula I strive to be. I want you to feel comfortable asking me anything, laughing with me, crying if you need to, and knowing you don't have to have everything figured out. My faith has taught me the importance of loving and serving others, and I carry that into every family I support. I believe birth is more than welcoming a baby; it's also about caring for the woman becoming a mother. And when our time together ends, my hope is that you'll remember not just what I did for you, but how I made you feel.
