I loved working with Megan. She helped care for our now 4 month old second child Rowan recently for about 2 months. She was kind as well as very helpful and always asking what she could do to make things easier. She was a great listening ear for all the things baby, birth, and beyond. She mostly helped us with infant care, bottle and pump part washing, laundry, and making snacks, like muffins. The resources she shared with me as print outs I kept on our fridge because they were so helpful. She also had recommendations for other providers, like a pelvic floor therapist. I honestly felt like I was having a friend or family come hang out and watch the family after a visit or two. All in all, highly recommend working with her! I don't have any complaints, truly. I will only say I wish I had hired her sooner, knowing what I know now. It was vital for me having someone who cared about my mental health just as much as my new baby, especially this second time around. Highly recommend working with her!

In addition to my pursuit of becoming a medical doctor, I also enjoy spending time with children and investing into the next generation. Growing up I spent a lot of time watching young children; I don't recall a time when I wasn't holding someone's baby. As an adult, I enjoy spening time with my nieces, nephews, and godchildren. My childcare experiences includes my pediatric rotation, community sevice, and paid employment via care.com, sittercity.com and nannylane.com. My pediatric rotation gave me the medical background for caring for children from first days of life to adolescence. Additionally, I have spent the last 3 years nannying and volunteering with infants and toddlers within the foster care system. If I can be of service, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I look forward to working with you and your family!

"It was all a dream!" Literally! My journey to doula-hood started with a dream from the Lord of me giving birth on my mom's kitchen floor while she knelt behind me to support and assist me through it all. I didn't fully understand it now, but now I am watching that birthing dream come to fruition right before my eyes and the profound message is becoming more and more clearer. Born to birth; Brittany Williams, nicknamed “Doula B”; is a certified birth doula and lactation support specialist trained by “Doula Trainings International” (DTI), “Lactation Education Resources" (LER) and "Baby Basics" (What to Expect Project) organizations. "As a doula, my goal is to provide added love, peace and light to help reduce the risks related to postpartum depression and to aid women in gaining or regaining control and satisfaction of their birthing experience through a supportive and prayerful approach. All the while assisting to facilitate the ultimate birthing experience by empowering, equipping and strengthening mothers and families through their remarkable birth & postpartum journey." -Doula B

Hey, I'm Chey and I’d love to be your doula! Born in Southern VA and raised all over the DMV area, I have always wanted to help people. Having experience in the medical field, I ultimately would love to become a Midwife and start a collective with like minded individuals who believe in providing a village and “Mothering the Mother”. I am a certified labor doula through MaternityWise Institute and currently working on certifying with them for Postpartum, Lactation, CBE, and more. I am constantly researching and willing to broaden my knowledge to be the best I can for my families. I am a mother of four boys, 3 of which had NICU time (2 micro preemies and 1 term). I have experience with children with special needs (oxygen, g-tube, reflux, developmental delays, and more). I am very compassionate and empathetic to the needs of my clients. In my free time I enjoy listening to music (all types!), taking photos, and researching topics in relation to maternal and infant health

I come from a mental health background in which I received counseling training and gained experience with emotional and therapeutic support. I highly recommend Liv. They were so helpful postpartum for me and my baby. Having a NICU baby was difficult, but Liv was there to help. I felt confident taking a nap or showering and leaving my baby with them. They continued to help me through the postpartum process as a first time mom who also had a c-section. Liv had plenty of advice and tips and trick to help me. I felt comfortable asking all my question. It was nice to have someone knowledgeable to talk. I cannot recommend them enough. I will definitely be calling Liv for my next baby!

Hey there, I’m Ni’Sheerer! I’m the kind of doula who believes birth isn’t just about bringing a baby into the world—it’s about honoring the whole journey, from the first little flutter to those sweet (and sometimes sleepy) postpartum snuggles. My philosophy is simple: every family deserves support that’s both knowledgeable and heart-centered. I combine evidence-based care with a sprinkle of intuition, a lot of listening, and the belief that your birth story should feel empowering, not overwhelming. I’m here to be your cheerleader, your extra set of hands, and sometimes even your snack-fetching, water-refilling, “you’ve got this” voice when things get real. I see birth as a partnership—your body, your baby, your choices—my role is to support and protect that space. Whether it’s helping you find your breath during labor, keeping you company in those quiet postpartum hours, or making sure you get that much-needed nap, I’m all about creating an environment where you feel safe, heard, and cared for. Birth is powerful, parenting is brave, and I’m honored to walk beside you in it all.

Hello, my name is Nashare and I am the owner of That Community Helper. I am trained as birth and postpartum doula, but currently focusing on postpartum clients. I graduated college with a degree in Early Childhood Education and it made me realize that the best foundation for a good early childhood is through the mother/parents. I believe that parents have lost the support through the entire perinatal phase and it is my desire and goal to make sure the parents build confidence in themselves. In my practice I believe in creating a compassionate, education-driven, supportive environment during a very sensitive time in parents’ lives. In my free time, I like to paint, draw, and read.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Taniqua, our postpartum doula (and now, friend), who was a true beacon of support during one of the most transformative times in our lives. From the moment she stepped into our home, it was clear that her expertise and passion for her work were unparalleled. Taniqua’s extensive knowledge was evident in every interaction. She didn’t just care for our newborn with exceptional skill; she took the time to share her insights and experiences with both me and my husband. Whether it was tips on newborn care, feeding support, or just navigating parenthood, her guidance was both practical and reassuring. What truly stood out was how Taniqua made us feel—supported, informed, and empowered. Her presence was a comforting reminder that we weren’t alone in this journey. She was always ready with answers to our questions and offered valuable advice that made a world of difference in our day-to-day lives. We are incredibly grateful for her support and cannot recommend her highly enough to any parents. Thank you, Taniqua, for everything you did for us during this special time!
