Having Medina by my side was the best decision. Doing our pre labor meetings a month before definitely made me more comfortable with Medina and my husband also was more comfortable. We both loved having Medina as part of our journey. Two months postpartum and I absolutely I am so blessed that Medina was there. Medina truly and genuinely cared for my baby and myself. I can’t even put it to words how supportive Medina was. I loved her quick responses even at 2am! Her guidance. I’m so glad she’s a doula and I hope she becomes a midwife.and I will be recommending Her to everyone I know. I Love her and misss her!!!!!!

When first looking into MBDC, I was able to communicate with the owner Hannah Wright. She was very friendly, and answered all my questions promptly, connecting me with options of doulas that she felt I would connect well with. I contacted Medina to set up an interview, and instantly felt a connection with her! She not only answered all of my husband’s questions, but she also provided resources before we decided to book her. Medina is very warm and comforting, going truly above and beyond making sure that myself and my husband were comfortable during my 3rd trimester leading up to delivery of my baby girl. She came to my home and gave me a wonderful prenatal massage, and demonstrated exercises that will help with delivery, including my husband! Medina checked in regularly with me, and also helped with making my birth plan, always having my wishes and needs met. She is a great listener, and always prioritized my wants and needs. The day that I went into labor Medina was available immediately and provided comfort and peace of mind prior to meeting me at the hospital. She was a vital role in my successful delivery, making me feel comfortable and grounded throughout the labor process. I truly could not have had a better experience because of Medina! I will forever be so grateful for her supporting myself and my husband feeling confident about becoming first time parents. I would highly recommend MBDC - especially Medina, to all future families looking for excellent supportive birth support!

I hired Medina to be my doula for the birth of my twins. I knew from our initial consultation that she would be a great fit. Medina was very knowledgeable about how to support labor and listened to all my concerns and desires. I also appreciated that she provided a prenatal massage as well and went over some exercises to manage my different pains. She also provided plenty of literature and videos on exercises, prenatal support, and labor support. During labor I really enjoyed her ability to direct me through changing positions, encourage breath work, and offering counter pressure for back and hip pain. Without her I would not have been able to manage things as well as I did with her present. I am very thankful to have had her there and highly recommend her.

I would highly recommend Medina for a doula! I really wanted to give birth without an epidural and I did thanks to Medina for being there and encouraging me. My husband was very happy with having her there, she was able to give him ideas on how to help me through the contractions.
